   I was recommended Ashford & Partners by my investment portfolio manager at St. James Place Wealth Management. Neel Shah is absolutely amazing in every way. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and also extremely accommodating. I could not have chosen a better financial advisor if I tried looking for a decade. He has helped me in so many ways and I am so much better off as his client in so many ways. I would be completely lost without his expertise. He makes everything easy to understand and has helped me save money in many areas, as well as helping with all my taxes.    My dealings with Ashford & Partners has been in the capacity of supporting my mum who is their primary client. Neel Shah, of Ashford & Partners, has always shown the utmost respect and patience in meetings. He has had to talk us through complex scenarios but ensures that he takes the time to explain terminology in a way in which we can understand. My mother says of Ashford & Partners: "The service that I have received over a number of years has been very good. They reply promptly to my calls, and I am very satisfied with their answers to my questions. They have a friendly attitude and I always find them to be polite."    I have been using Ashford and partners for quite a number of years now. I wanted to write this review as I feel like it could help other people. My accountant Neel has always taken time to help me understand everything I need to know about the accounting side of my business. Not only does he make everything easy to understand but he is also very reliable which is extremely important to me. He always gets back to me on my queries and I never have to worry about my tax return not being done in time etc.

   I have approached Neel with some tax returns I wanted to file. He was confident in the beginning in the success of the claim. After payment, he sent the documents to HMRC. They replied after a couple of months with more required details. Neel offered to help for an extra fee. I was surprised because I though for the fee I paid I get this claim sorted. I have chosen to write back to HMRC myself, they replied again. By this time I have exchanged many emails with Neel and without any help. We have set up a meeting which I had to wait a month for to be seen by Neel, got cancelled on the last day because of COVID reasons. He assured me that he will set up another meeting soon. Still awaiting for this to happen. Very disappointed, only received help until payment made, no aftercare , have to chase emails and appointments. I have suggested the firm to another two of my friends as I had a good initial expression , however for everyone : Avoid this and look for someone more reliable.

   When I approached Neel to help with my business and personal taxes they were in a big mess and I was plagued by stress. Every step of the way he helped and reassured me and, after just the first phone call, I had complete confidence in him. I really felt like he wasn't just helping because it was his job, but also because he genuinely wanted to give me the help I needed. And he did! Neel helped to make my limited company dormant and prepare my taxes ready to apply for maternity allowance. He was always at the end of the phone or email if I had questions, and his calm professionalism was very welcome in times of stress. I really cannot recommend Neel and his team enough. By far the most approachable and likeable accountants I've ever met.
