I have been extremely impressed with the service I've received from WSA Tax (originally as Warrener Stewart), and Georgia Maher in particular. As an "accidental American" subject to two often conflicting tax regimes, I've faced the daunting task of bringing my US taxes into compliance having previously been unaware of my US tax obligations. This has been a long and challenging process, but made as simple and painless as it possibly could have been, and with very reasonable fees unlike some other firms. The tax rules are far from straightforward, and I've been highly impressed with Georgia's knowledge of the UK and US tax systems and associated case law. I'm enormously grateful for the advice I've received throughout, for Georgia's patience with my numerous questions, and for the dedicated solutions to my individual tax circumstances. Thoroughly recommended!
Avoid, avoid avoid this company. I engaged them to prepare my UK self-assessment and my US tax return. Not only was my US return filed late, but they also filed an incorrect version, leading the IRS to correct my return & delay my refund by over 8 months. In addition, they also are trying to charge me twice for the same service & despite repeated emails showing payment & attempting to call several times, I’ve received no response but keep getting chased for payment. Do not use!
As American expats, my wife and I needed assistance with our UK Tax prep and couldn't be happier with the service we received from Warrener Stewart, and specifically Georgia Maher, who was amazing! My wife (who is a Tax Director) was very impressed by how knowledgeable, responsive and detailed Georgia was. Their fees were also fair and actually a bit lower than most quotes we received, yet they provided premium service. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
