   Simply put, I've used a few accounting services and VATGlobal is the worst (I've been running my business for 15 years). Poor communication and service level, the most ridiculous thing is they couldn't even get their own invoices right. I've moved to another accountant, but I still receive letters from foreign tax authorities for unresolved matters from time to time. If you have other options, just stay away from them.

   I don't know how they offer accounting services. They repetively get the VAT returns wrong. They don't even have any accountants on staff, let alone chartered accountants from the UK. You can find something wrong with each VAT return they do, then you will get letters from tax authorities for incorrect filings. Do not use and avoid the trouble they will bring to your business.

   Avoid like the plague. VAT Global do not have the skills or local expertise needed to file VAT returns in EU countries. They've made such a mess of my accounts that what I saved on their fees compared to other VAT accountants I've ended up paying in penalties and aggravation. I have been unable to transfer my accounts elsewhere because of all the unresolved issues on my accounts. Problems that should have been resolved months ago if they weren't so woefully incompetent.

   VAT Global are appalling. Don't touch them with a bargepole. I used them because I sell through Amazon who recommended them to handle my VAT compliance in France and Germany. They have mishandled both. They confirmed to me that my french VAT DD was set up, when in fact it wasn't leading to large arrears. They also haven't actually submitted my German VAT returns for the start of this year from January until June, leading to further arrears. They are unresponsive and not helpful. I don't know what I'm paying a monthly fee for as they dont actually seem to do anything. Happy to provide further feedback to ANYONE thinking of using this company.

   Our experience with VAT Global was simple and smooth. Thanks to them, my company received VAT number in Spain and Portugal. Sheldene and Lebogang almost led us by the hand, within their step-by-step framework. They are great at explaining complicated things in simple terms, very quick to reply and provided all the materials we needed to apply for VAT. Looking forward to continue working with them on regular VAT filings. Totally recommend.
