    I started using DL Haygarth a year ago following the death of my previous Accountant who had dealt with my tax affairs for many years. I was not looking forward to finding someone new as they would not be familiar with my tax situation. However I didn't need to worry as Lucy at DL Haygarth took over seamlessly. She is friendly and efficient and happy to answer all my queries. She has also provided me with all the documents I needed to transfer my mortgage. I find tax both confusing and time consuming so it is great to have someone I can rely on. They have a good portal too which means you just need to upload all your documents and they then do the rest! I would highly recommend them.

I am not great with figures and financial issues, turns out I had misunderstood my tax position for many years, and I needed help and professional advice with the recent HMRC tax investigation. She created an impressive spreadsheet from my data going back many years, she negotiated with HMRC about my behaviour and managed to reduce the number of years investigated, and she prepared and submitted my Disclosure which was accepted by HMRC.
