   I do not usually leave reviews unless I am truly pleased or displeased with the service I receive. This is certainly the case for the former. After I decided to change accountant I spoke with several firms and individuals but none of them really gave me the confidence to go ahead. The entire process with tax-assist has been really positive. Initially I spoke with Farooq on the phone, and he invited me to meet at his office to discuss my tax situation face to face. I have to say that having the personal touch and in person relationship when we are somehow used to do everything remotely is what really made the difference here. Not only Farooq took plenty of time to listen to my situation, but he has always been very precise and patient showing confidence and knowledge with the many queries I had. My tax situation was not overly complicated (Self Assessment with some ties to the US, Rental Income and Redundancy), but certainly complicated enough to give headaches to certain accountants like my previous one. The entire process has been stress free and I am truly happy of the services I received by Tax Assist. If you are looking for help with your taxes do not hesitate to reach out to Farooq and his team, or just pop-by their office in the East Village to meet him in person.

   I have been with TaxAssist accountants from the past 10 years. The response and the service has been exceptionally well. Farooq and Sofia have been submitting my taxes and they never missed the deadline. Farooq also helped some of my friends when they have queries with their tax accounts. Five star service. I have a really good relationship with Sofia who I liaise with mainly, she is so personable and deals with all my accounting quickly but also really thoroughly.
