   I contacted Baxter & Co because I needed some help in understanding some IHT rules as I am not British. I’d like to highlight first that I had read a lot of things before contacting them so I was aware of the basics and my questions were quite specific for a first consultation. Mark Wildi has been very helpful and clarified to me some points which I misunderstood (not because of my lack of English language skill but because they were not easy to grasp) giving me a great peace of mind.    At the beginning of this year we needed assistance from an accountant with reporting our year-end tax numbers as a result of staff sickness. Baxter & Co stepped in at very short notice to assist with preparing the UK tax numbers and putting together the consolidated global tax figures for inclusion in our financial statements. With significant operations in the USA, South-East Asia and India as well as a number of other territories we needed a firm with international tax experience who were able to deal with a complex consolidation. Baxter & Co more than met the challenge, quickly establishing a good working relationship with our finance team, our overseas tax advisors and our auditors, they were responsive to our needs, efficiently processing late adjustments to ensure that the reporting timetable for the group was met.
