I am writing this review to issue a severe warning about the appalling service at the Moorgate Post Office branch and its subsequent catastrophic customer service response. On March 27th, 2025, during my visit to the Moorgate branch (45 London Wall, EC2M 5TE), despite providing clear instructions for a parcel drop-off using a valid QR code for a Tracked Drop Off service, the counter employee (a woman in her 40s/50s) incorrectly applied a return label to my package (Original tracking: TQ 7541 3656 1GB). This was done without my knowledge or confirmation, and despite my repeated explanations of the service I required. Her demeanor was unhelpful and dismissive throughout. As a direct result of this Post Office employee's error, my parcel was misdelivered and is now lost. The nightmare continued with Post Office Customer Service (Complaint Ref: CAS-4016972-R1T6G0). Despite providing all necessary evidence and numerous detailed emails, they have been utterly evasive, contradictory, and unhelpful. My complaint was initially 'resolved' due to alleged 'missing information' (which I had provided), then put into an 'appeal' process. Shockingly, this appeal was then denied with absurd and illogical excuses that attempted to shift blame onto me, claiming the QR code I presented must have been incorrect, despite having proof of my intended transaction and payment. Furthermore, I contacted the Postal Redress Service (POSTRS) for external resolution, only to be informed that they do not handle complaints against Post Office Ltd. directly for operational errors like this. This highlights a critical gap in accountability for Post Office's own services. The Post Office has shown a complete lack of responsibility, competence, and basic customer care. They actively hinder resolution and provide zero support when their own staff make costly errors. I strongly advise everyone to avoid the Moorgate Post Office branch and frankly, be extremely wary of using Post Office Ltd. services if you value your parcels or expect any form of accountability. This has been an incredibly frustrating, time-consuming, and costly experience, and I would hate for anyone else to go through the same ordeal

My daughter has been waiting for months. She also has a financial advisor who is getting no where with this company. No one available to take to, no one gets back to you and when we did finally get through to someone we were told "I'm working from home today so I cant help you!!" - absolute disgrace - avoid at all costs

Used to be okay but now have gone downhill. Post Office used to offer great mortgage rates. Yet I feel they just entice new customers with low rates to begin with. They then perform the most ridiculous stringent checks to get through and underwrite mortgages. I had at one time three BTL mortgages with these guys giving them thousands £'s in interest. Now I will have ZERO mortgages with them as I get rid of my last one and they lose around £20k a year in interest. They also never send you any reminder letter or email to let you know the mortgage fixed rate period is going to expire. Instead sneakily waiting like opportunist vultures to see if you forget and let your mortgage slip over to extortionate SVR rates. Luckily we have calendars that remind us. Now I'm trying my hardest to leave and never come back, bye!

Do not use Post Office mortgages. They refused my mortgage and stated my information is inconsistent without even mentioning anything to me. Maybe my broker made a mistake, but they ruined my credit rating without even telling me about any issues or asking me any questions. When I asked why my mortgage was rejected, they refused to tell me the reason and instead decided they would attempt to ruin my life.

Do not use Post Office Money/Bank of Ireland for BTL mortgages in the UK. They lure us in with semi-attractive interest rates (sold as a Post Office Money product) yet the follow-on service is appalling, such as a website that doesn't ever work (tried registering to manage my account but it said there was an error) and therefore requires a call to a useless call center each time you want to know something. They charge hidden fees and once the initial deal ends they're effectively a zombie bank as there's a complete lack of new deals, only extortionately high interest rates. Thankfully I have switched away from them but feel obliged to warn anyone who's thinking to use them to look elsewhere.

Outstanding Service throughout when applying for a mortgage, the communication and customer service is by far the best I have experienced. I highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed. The whole process took just over a week. Thank you. Will be recommended you. A*
