I called in desperation to get my new curtains up for Christmas. I tried and failed! I explained my need and was given an appointment for today. Amandeep came out and in no time at all my curtains are up. He even hoovered up some dust from the drilling! I am impressed and definitely recommend him and will use again. Price was realistic. Happy to have found him. Now looking at other things I need doing!!

I would like to give 0 stars rather than 1, but Google won't allow it. If you are looking at all the positive 5-star reviews for Ravi and thinking of calling upon his services, DON'T. All the positive reviews must be fake because my experience with Ravi was honestly so terrible that it could not have been an isolated incident. I called Ravi to hang a wooden blind in one of the bedrooms in my house and it was agreed that he would do the job the next morning. He quoted £50. I had put a lot of effort into refurbishing this bedroom, painting, decorating, cleaning, installing new furniture, and selecting furnishings. The blinds were to be the finishing touch and should have been relatively easy for any competent tradesman to install - these blinds were made to measure and came with a full set of instructions. However, Ravi proved to be the opposite of competent and ended up causing more harm than good, leaving me with more work in the bedroom. When Ravi arrived, he was not equipped. He knew in advance that he was coming to hang a blind, but did not bring any dust cover or sheet or handheld vacuum to clean up after his drilling. Instead, I had to provide an old bedsheet and stand on guard with my own domestic vacuum cleaner. In addition, Ravi was very careless and lacking in skill and judgment in his work approach. He did not make the necessary measurements to make sure the blind was hung in the right place with equal space on either side. He just started drilling holes without checking he was drilling in the correct place. He drilled holes in entirely the wrong places, but did not realise until too late. So, he had to drill further holes in order to hang the blind. Ravi said that the wrong holes he drilled would be hidden, but that was not the case and he instead left me with extra holes in my wall that I had gone to so much effort to get nicely painted. Ravi did not have any plaster to fill the unnecessary holes he made and said that it would have to be done another time. Ravi eventually hung the blind, which he did not have a clue how to operate himself, and charged me £50, which I paid in cash. I enquired with him about some potential other work, but was already feeling wary. The problems continued to reveal themselves after he left... After Ravi left, I noticed that he failed to install the safety holder for the cord and left it hanging loose. However, I might have dodged a bullet there because, judging by his blind installation, Ravi could have done even more damage had he tried to install the holder. Also, 10 minutes after he left, I heard an almighty 'THUD'. I came into the bedroom and found that the wooden valance panel for the top of the blind had fallen off entirely. Ravi had not stuck it on securely. When I called him, he suggested gluing it back on, which hardly seems a proper solution. The blinds came with pieces to allow for more secure installation of the valance, but Ravi chose not to use these (or did not realise what they were) and only applied the sticky velcro. Ravi took many shortcuts and seemed to be clueless. After all this, there were scratches and cracks all over the wall. I was so upset and messaged Ravi to tell him. He said he would return my £50 by online bank transfer and asked for my bank details, which I sent, but fixing the damage was going to cost far more. Later in the evening, I messaged Ravi saying that I hoped he had transferred my money back. He replied to say he would return the next morning to give me the £50 in cash. The cheek of it - asking for my bank details with no intention of making a bank transfer! I did not want to see Ravi's face again, so asked him to make the bank transfer as he promised in the first place. He did transfer the £50, but I was still left with the effects of his shoddy work. Ravi was given a simple job and messed it up to an unimaginable extent. He is not reliable nor is he skilled. Do not trust him for any kind of work as you will live to regret it. I will certainly not be calling upon him again for any jobs and would warn everyone against him.

Great quality service, very reasonable pricing. Ravi is more than qualified for all the handyman tasks we had his help with. He also demonstrated skills also with plumbing and electric. He completed about 10 household DIY tasks at a very high standard. He came fully equipped and had some great suggestions for how to fix things up in a tidy way. I've included photos of Ravis mounting work at our home.

Ravi kindly came at short notice to assemble a storage unit on my balcony. He quoted a great price for it (just £60) but it took him longer than anticipated. Rather than charing more, he left it at my discretion, so I paid him £80 which I hope was OK. He also got my radiator working and detached my broken television from it's mount and carried it down to my car. A thoughtful and professional service. I think Ravi has a good skill set and hopefully I will have him back to do some more interior jobs for me. Thanks Ravi and I'll be in touch soon.
