   We have used Move-OnUp 4 times now and on each occasion, Dougal (the boss) turned up in person, just before the arranged time. He has done all sorts of jobs for us including tidying up our garden, mowing the lawn, pruning trees & weeding flower beds. He has fixed and painted our fences (front and back) and indoors has repaired or replaced some broken ceiling tiles. He is a very friendly "can-do" sort of guy. He is extremely hard-working and uncomplaining and charges a very fair rate, compared to other firms we have used previously.

   Dougal was an incredible help the day my partner and I moved houses, we weren't sure we would fit everything we had in his van, but he carefully planned everything out so that nothing was damaged or left behind, Dougal helped us load and unload and was there to assist us with everything we needed. Definitely ideal if you're looking for something more personal and reliable. Highly recommended.

   I contacted Dougal because another moving company that I had booked suddenly become non-responsive on the day of the move. It was a sofa I needed to move that same day. After contacting Dougal, and informing him of my dilemma, he agreed to help, even though he had finished work for the day. Not only was he professional and highly responsive; he went the extra mile to help transport the sofa up the stairs (to the fourth floor) when it wouldn’t fit in the lift. I highly recommend Dougal. 100% value for money!
