   Had a small cut/chip in our laminate worktop. I contacted 3 or 4 firms, 1 said that it couldn't be repaired satisfactorily. 2 didn't reply at all, the most reasonable price was Royal Repair. Ziggy came out at an agreed date and time which was arranged with Saul. The work was carried out to a very good standard. Also I really can't even see where the damage was! Recomended without hesitation.

   Worst repair ever. See photos below for “invisible” floor repair of damaged wood in corners. Looks worse than before. Also: gap not covered. Brown paint on door frame.

   Similar to other reviews here, wish I had read them first. Kitchen top repaired quickly and looked ok at finish. Should have known paying cash to the specialist was a warning sign. Later that day the repair became visible and was no longer flush with worktop. Emails had to be chased, and I was told it was the best they could do. Given my landlord then charged me again to replace the entire worktop I asked for a refund and was ignored. Do not use.

   Wish I could put 0 stars for this company. DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE!! You can clearly see from attached pictures that the work carried out is of extremely poor quality and did not fix the work surface, as promised. We were told this would be carried out by a 'specialist.' Yet after carrying out the work, the supposed 'specialist' informed us this was 'the best he could do.' £250 out of pocket and I was not refunded or offered any compensation for the poor work. The owner would not take any responsibility for this and was in complete denial. STAY CLEAR!!

   Saul responded quickly to my enquiry. He was confident and I found this reassuring. The price was in the mid range compared to the four companies I spoke with. They arrived on time and completed the repair without fuss. Happy to recommend.

   Same day service, arrived before booked time. Fairly priced, work was completed before I arrived on site. I couldn’t even find the damaged area it was that good. Would use service again if needs be.

   Would not recommend. We contacted Royal Repair for minor scratches and knife marks on our kitchen worktop. After 3 days only, the varnish started to crack and peel off the surface, making the surface looking much worse than it was before. They refused to talk through the phone and after sending the images, we were accused of applying chemical substances over it. They also didn't clean up after they left. In the end, they refused to solve the issue, ignored us when we contacted them to find a solution and justified themselves by saying their prices were the lowest on the market. We were left with a damaged worktop and a £200 bill. Never go for the cheapest!
