Fantastic service and very reasonably priced. They sorted me out in a really tricky situation (stuck roadside with a five month old) super quickly and were really efficient in fixing the car and getting it back to me. Very, very happy with National Rescue Group and would recommend them to anyone.
Not all heroes wear capes… After our campervan broke down on the way home from a family road trip to Wales, we found ourselves in the middle of a relay recovery due to the long distance back to Hove. The first recovery company dropped us at Cobham Services, where we waited—exhausted, with two very tired children—for the next leg of the journey. That’s when Filip from National Rescue turned up, and everything changed. He arrived with a warm smile and genuine kindness, quickly getting us and the van safely to the garage. But he didn’t stop there. Seeing how drained we all were, he went above and beyond—driving us all the way home, a journey he didn’t have to make, but chose to. It might seem like a small act to some, but to us, at the end of a long and stressful day, it meant the world. Filip transformed a tough experience into a reminder of how generous and thoughtful people can be. We’re incredibly grateful—faith in humanity well and truly restored. Car would not start. Breakdown trucks came out , lads were brilliant but failed to get car started. Car was recovered to workshop. Over a week later, and many phone calls, being fobbed off with a Technician who never turned up .. day after day... I had my car recovered back to Wales, not fixed. Who is the invisible tech. I do not recommend this workshop. Never understood a business like this. End.
My car wouldn’t start, so I called for help and was lucky enough to have Alex (N22) come out in his van. He was incredibly professional and friendly, taking the time to explain everything in clear, simple terms. He answered all my questions with patience and gave me a jump start, along with excellent advice on how to take care of my car battery going forward. The level of service and expertise was outstanding, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of reliable, knowledgeable assistance. Truly top-notch!
Had a puncture and got towed back home, the guy who I spoke to was brilliant, the guy who picked me up was fantastic too! Big thank you too you both. Highly recommend.
I required our car to be towed from an independent garage to a Ford garage for a warranty repair. The staff in the office and the tow driver were polite and professional. The tow truck arrived when planned and dropped off our car at the Ford garage without any hassle. The price was reasonable and I would definitely recommend.
I was taking the family out to dinner earlier today for my wife’s birthday. We used my dads 5 series, which chose today to breakdown on the A3. I get recovery via my bank account. I called the emergency number, via Green Flag, who put the call in to National Rescue to collect us. The driver, Elliot, arrived quicker than expected. He was a real gentleman, putting safety first and patient getting the car onto his truck and waiting for me to transfer some property from the car. He took us home- nice , courteous and safe drive back as well. 5 stars to Elliot and National Rescue. Use with confidence.
I broke down earlier this week, the Master Cylinder had failed resulting in my Clutch to stop working so I couldn't engage the gears. Luke (R10) who arrived in the Recovery Truck diagnosed the problem quickly. Given that my own garage couldn't fit me for two weeks rang his colleague Rob who agreed to investigate and repair my car over the following two days. Luke took my car on his Recovery Truck to National Rescue Repair at Chessington the same evening. Rob examined my car the following morning and fitted a new clutch master cylinder within 48 hours. I have to say excellent and very professional service from both Luke and Rob. The Guys were both personable, helpful, provided really good customer service and are a credit to your organisation.
A young lad came out to help me, it was a tricky situation where I reversed in the dark and a bollard got trapped between my front wheel and bonnet. I could not steer out of it, he lifted the van with a pump and pulled it with his truck. I watched in amazement at the level of skill this young man had, nobody else had a clue how to remove my van from this awkward situation and the RAC said that it could require special equipment costing thousands.. He literally saved me thousands of pounds!! Highly recommended!
