I had a very disappointing experience with this mechanic shop. They initially gave me one price, but when it came time to pay, they added extra charges that were never mentioned beforehand. The communication throughout the process was poor - I was left waiting around with no updates on what was happening. First, they gave me one price, then added extra charges at the end without explaining anything. When I called UK Hybrid Automatic to report the issue, they told me to come back in. After waiting around for a long time yet again, they finally admitted something was wrong. Instead of fixing the problem themselves, they sent me to another place altogether. They sent me to another garage, IF IT Motors Limited, which was the responsibility of hybrid automotive - yet they still charged me an additional amount of money twice on top of the original payment. Despite all this, as soon as I got home, I realised something was still wrong with my car. I went in to get my car fixed, but they weren’t able to resolve the issue the first day, so I had to come back again the next day. Even then, I ended up waiting for hours before they finally finished the job. Overall, the lack of transparency, delays, and poor customer service made the entire experience incredibly frustrating.
I have been to UK Hybrid Automotive garage in 3 occasions and I cold not been very satisfied elsewhere. They are very helpful, very friendly and very professional at their job. I had to change my Hybrid battery, changed my drive shafts and very recently change my brake booster pump. I highly recommend UK Hybrid Automotive Garage to anyone driving any Hybrid vehicle.
I've bought many cars in my life time but my experience with UK Hybrid has been by far the best. They are people of integrity and expertise. I have confidence that they will be true to their commitment, so I have peace of mind. I won't hesitate to recommend! Just to update my post: I had a little trouble with my car after purchase, Mohammed sent people to my house to resolve it! I had another little issue and I was told bring the car in "anytime" ( it was quickly resolved). I don't usually write reviews but the service I have received is truly exceptional!!
I had my car's hybrid battery replaced a few months ago, and after some time, it started acting up. I took it back to the garage, and they replaced it with a new one under warranty without any hassle. This is a great garage with skilled, friendly people. Special thanks to Mr. Afzal, the boss, who was very helpful and professional. Highly recommend their service!"
Very poor service, they don't know what they are doing. I don't think that they are even mechanic. I took my car to them after 3 hours of waiting they did diagnostic. They asked me to change the battery and coolant pumps which I did . Then after 1 week driving the same issues came then again I called them and took the car to them, waited more then 4 hours then they are saying need to change coolant pumps again, for that they charge me again. Then after 2 weeks driving the same issues came. I called them again and asked them why the same code came after changing the battery and coolant pumps but they were very rude. I spent money for nothing.
From the outset these guys were very fantastic, polite, helpful and efficient. We were so looked after, they even were able to complete the works whilst we waited. I have a Toyota Prius that needed a battery replacement and they didn’t try to push for us to take the most expensive option, they offered what they thought was the right fit for us, which for me is amazing customer service…honesty! Would highly recommend, and so lovely to see a team of guys all working with smiles on their faces.
Left My Lexus RX 450H to be fixed (check hybrid light had come on and heating stopped working at the same time), after the initial electric check for errors, one of the guys passed a note to Afzaal (was his name i believe), Afzaal looked the note asked me to leave it as they need to check again. Later on that day I tried to call, nobody was answering, sent a txt to a mobile number i had for the garage still no answer, later on that day i called again, was sent a SMS, saying i need to txt (which i already had done previously). The next day I decided to head back to the garage and I was ready just to pick up the car and go elsewhere, when i got there i was told the car was fixed (without being given a job quote or no communication at all). was told GEAR oil pump and heating was fixed (not replaced ) and it will be £850 +VAT, which i thought was outrageous after protesting he called his brother on the phone and I reluctantly agreed to pay £780. So my advise, DO NOT LEAVE your car with them , without knowing how much the work would cost first. So in my personal experience i would give zero stars if i could.
If I possibly could give 10 stars i would have given them, I haven’t seen anyone reliable and honest in this trade as Uk hybrid and especially Afzaal. They fixed my ABS brakes/pump problem in toyota prius while many mechanics even cant diagnose the problem. Highly recommended
I got Toyota Estima Hybrid 2008 and it was giving error code to replace hybrid battery pack. I started searching for an experience expert hybrid machinic. I got 2 recommendation for Ukhybridautomotive. I called them and was told to bring the car for diagnostic but i was given the same bad news that Battery pack needs replacement. I went for new battery pack as it was more sensible option. I was told it might take weeks as due to current situation there is a back log on these batteries order at Toyota. Toyota was called in front of me and luckily they could deliver a battery pack the next day. Next morning by 11:00 i got a call to bring my car as batteries got delivered. at 12:23 i arrived at the work shop and straight away they key was taken from me and 2 engineers started working on the car with out wasting time. by 12:30 the battery was disconnected (Pic 1). by 12:40 the battery was out of the car (Pic 2). I was called to see open the box with New battery back from Toyota (Pic 3). With in 15 min the battery was assembled and the the installation process stared. By 16:40 the whole process finished and i was told to start the car and the car started and the error went. The reason for going for the new battery was the price at which i was offer and peace of mind that they know what they are doing as while i was at the work shop the hybrid cars where coming and getting fixed and moving leaving. All in all in few hours i got a crash course on Hybrid Cars by the team which gave me confidence as this is my first ever Hybrid car. I will surely recommend Ukhybridautomative and rate them highly for there workmanship, service and guidance. Give them 5 Stars.
