Very disappointing. After 3 years of a mostly positive relationship, GPS were extremely rude to us, declining a job in the most aggressive way possible, after delaying us for several weeks. In early August, we requested a quote for a job. We had a tight timeline, which they understandably couldn't meet, but we were told they should be able to do it in late September or early October. We called at the beginning of September to request a date, and were told that they couldn't provide one yet, and to call back in 2 weeks. Calling back two weeks later, we were rudely told that they wouldn't be doing the job, because they were tired of us constantly calling them. Because of this, we have been unable to use our bathroom for 4 weeks, during which time we could have been talking to other companies. We waited for them, and the net result of doing so was to be treated rudely over the phone, and to be strung along with the possibility they would do the job, despite apparently having no intention to really do so.
Excellent, efficient company and reasonably priced. Understood my needs and arranged an engineer at short notice. Engineer arrived on time and observed covid rules, was friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble and more importantly took to explain the issue and the fix that was required. I have no problems recommending this company, who have become my go to company for fixing jobs at home that I cannot do.
They showed up when they said they would, evaluated the problem quickly and professionally and suggested contacting the manufacturer because the boiler was likely still under warranty and didn't charge us their usual minimum fee of 1 hour for the 25 minutes it took to evaluate the situation.
I couldn't be happier with the GPS handyman service. I'd built up a number of small jobs - hanging heavy mirrors, putting up a long curtain pole, easing a sticking front door, plus others - and they sorted them all out in an hour flat. They are also very pleasant people to deal with.
