   I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel I have to warn others about my experience. I contacted this company and was told I had to pay the invoice before they came out. Normally, an assessment should be done first to estimate the work required, but I went ahead anyway, thinking it couldn’t be too much more. I paid £300 upfront (including VAT). When they arrived, I was then told the job required a jet clean. I was given two options: £350 per hour or £550 fixed rate. These prices were initially quoted without VAT, which was only added later. At that point, my original £300 felt like it had been paid for nothing. Even if you exclude a call-out charge, there was no clear explanation of what the rest covered. In the end, the total charge came to £900 for 1 hour and 30 minutes of work to unblock the sewage using a jet clean. I felt completely taken advantage of, especially given the lack of transparency around pricing and VAT. I’m posting this so others are aware before using this company.    I had an emergency leak under my sink at 3 a.m., and 247 Rapid Response were absolutely incredible. They answered immediately and arrived faster than I expected for such an early hour. The engineer was professional, efficient, and quickly identified and fixed the leak with no hassle at all. What really impressed me was that they also went above and beyond by checking a few other issues around the kitchen to make sure everything was safe and working properly before they left. Their service was not only effective but extremely reliable, even in the middle of the night. I’m genuinely grateful for their quick response and excellent workmanship.
