   This company is a scam. They charge £700 and don’t even tell you what’s actually happening. They said 4 inches of water in my cellar was from failed mortar on the outside of the building. There was no evidence that water was dripping down so I asked them to change the report to say that the water was coming from an overfilled water table. They refused. It’s clear they pointed to the mortar failing because they provide a service to fix failed mortar. They don’t provide tanking services which is what would fix a water table issue. Clearly just pointing out problems they can fix even if they aren’t the actual cause of the leak. Had two other companies come to review and BOTH said it’s the water table overflowing and because the basement is unsealed it’s flooding up. Scam artists.

   Terrible service. I am thoroughly disappointed by the service we received from James at Water Damage. I sent detailed instructions about the areas of our basement we wanted investigating but the technician completely failed to inspect these areas, which I had specifically highlighted on a plan of our building. The technician was meant to be on-site, and we paid for 3 hours of his time, but after 1 hour his phone was running out and so he left! The follow up report we were sent didn't cover the areas we had asked to be inspected and when we took this up with James he was entirely lacking in any understanding, completely failed to acknowledge my detailed instructions, slammed the phone down on my co-Director and refused to work for us again. I have never received such a terrible service! BE WARNED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. - NB The Response below is a complete lie. We were very prepared, having sent detailed plans of the exact areas we wanted inspecting but these were ignored. I was on-site for the entire time they attended and made myself available to support the workman so not sure how this can be described as 'unaccommodating'. We didn't 'run out funding', we paid ~£1000 to Water Damage but failed to get what we paid for - having only received one hour of work when we paid for 3, so it seemed fair to ask for 2 more hours in order for the job to be completed. I never threatened to leave a bad review but unfortunately Water Damage did not provide what we paid for so it seemed appropriate to share this information for others' benefit.

   I contacted Water Damage in 2020 for an issue with damp, totally forgot to write a review. My initial impression was they were too busy - something that usually steers me away from companies. In case something goes wrong, it can take them a long time to fix it. James was on time, friendly, professional and gave me a fair estimate for the job. I had two other estimates but decided to use this company. Two years later, i haven't needed to call back. Top job, thanks mate

Called him on Monday and he was able to do a roof survey for me using a drone and infrared imaging the same week, which was really helpful as we were under pressure to complete our house move. He gave me some very useful advice about insulation and roof repairs as well.

   They got the best team to work on all water damages in your properties. I called them to ask for some help with the damages in my flat and their engineer came on the same day to assess and give a good quote. They worked on it the next day. They didn't waste any time and they worked impeccably. I would definitely use their services again in my other properties. I highly recommend them. +++++A

   The best people to call whenever a leakage problem at home. I had a very good conversation with one of their team and gave me the most reasonable quote. Arranged an appointment and worked on the damage very swiftly The convenience of having these people to work in my flat was just great. They are very efficient, professional and respectful while working in my property. Everyone should get these people to work on any leakage or water damage in their flats.

   Outstanding - James is a true professional - swift response to my enquiry, came and identified the problem with minimum fuss, remarkably polite and respectful of my property. Fixed the issue on the spot and was kind enough to use materials left over from a previous job so didn't charge extra. Overall cannot recommend enough - here's someone who takes his work seriously and understands/provides proper customer service.

   Amazing service. James gave very knowledgeable advice and sent one of his colleagues as soon as possible to remove my carpet after the flooding. He patiently talked me through various available options before and after the flooding incident. And later also emailed me on best ways to repair the damage and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend this company if you have a water damage emergency.
