My boiler was leaking with a suspected failure of the diverter valve. All the gas engineers I knew were all busy so I placed a job on Checkatrade and within 10-15minutes I was called by Shaqir. 35-40 minutes after the call and upon accepting the quote he was round my house and 45 minutes after he arrived my boiler was fully repaired and doesn't need a service again until December 2026. The boiler was cleaned out and it was recommended that the expansion vessel was also replaced which I accepted. Excellent job and very professional gas engineer. I fully recommend this company after my positive experience yesterday and I would definitely use them again in the future.
Genuinely incredible team from quote to final job completion. Experts at what they do and have genuinely seen it all. They are very good at proactively solving challenges as they arrive (which often happens when renovating a Victorian style bathroom). The tech platform is also very useful for keeping you up to date with everything and managing finances. I will be using them again for other work, and would recommend them to others. I called Boiler & Heating Care as I wasn’t sure when my boiler was last serviced (no sticker) plus recently it was loosing pressure. I also called them about gas safety check as I had never seen the certificate for the flat I purchased. Luckily I did ask them to gas safety check as there was a leak from the main meter!! Marvin (the engineer) was really great. Once he spotted the leak he got straight to it to fix the problem. Then he went onto servicing the boiler. Top man! Very glad to have found this company. My boiler just broke down a week before Christmas. I pay British Gas for insurance and they told me their earliest availability was 4 days later despite this being an emergency with the freezing weather. Looking for an alternative solution, I decided to try Boiler & Heating Care. I messaged them on WhatsApp around midday and engineers arrived around 2pm. The guys were able to quickly diagnose the problem and replaced the necessary parts. (Lucky for me they had those parts for my ancient boiler too). They were super friendly, polite and helpful with advice. Most importantly, they are experts who provide a stress free experience. I’m giving up on British Gas insurance and will be contacting this company for all future works.
