AVOID this company at any cost - terrible service. Their client support doesnβt understand what you tell them on the phone and even reply aggressively if you donβt accept their unreasonable best practices. They EXPECT you to have a private parking space or PAY for their parking permit. They had ordered a spare component for us, since the landlord hadnβt anticipated the payment for the component, the technician just cancelled the appointment after arriving outside of our flat!!! Technicians they send over very blunt and aggressive. We had an issue with the appliance and on top of this unpleasant experience, they havenβt fully fixed that. Just one suggestion - AVOID!

Terrible service - a waste of money and time. TLDR: We booked this service to repair our oven and in the end, it wasn't fixed. After 4 visits over one month, we ended up spending Β£105 to end up back at square one + a loss in earnings from booking time off work (they only give 8-5pm window, so you have to be in all day). The first time they came out, the engineer stated what he thought was wrong with it and ordered parts. We paid the callout fee and around Β£155 for the parts. A different engineer came this the second time and said that the oven was misdiagnosed and he needed different parts, and requoted us. On the day of the third visit, the engineer called us after lunch to say that he had forgotten the parts and would need to rearrange. When we called the company, they stated that they actually didn't have the parts so needed to wait for delivery. At the forth booked appt, we had the engineer who came the second time. After looking at the oven again, he said it couldn't be fixed and we needed a new oven. We got sent a quote for new ovens, none of which were suitable for our needs as we have an unusual requirement in our space which the engineer said he would pass on the details of. The ovens were also quoted at about Β£50 - Β£100 more than you can buy them elsewhere, plus a quote for installation costs that were significantly more. While the call out charge covered every visits, we asked the company if they would offer us a gesture of goodwill. This was because of loss of earnings, having to take off 4 whole days of work, and being out of pocket throughout because of wrong parts. And all of this only to end up back at square one but over Β£100 out of pocket and to be quoted Β£100s more than most appliance companies charge for the appliance and installation. The company told us multiple times they would look into our request re goodwill with no response. Spoke to the manager today and she confirmed that we would get no compensation, only refunds for the unnecessary parts we paid for. She said she understood why we were upset, but that we couldn't get a refund because they were actually out of pocket from sending so many engineers - sorry, this is your problem, not ours.

If you are thinking of using this company I would advise to steer well clear! I had a hotpoint FF 200 EP where the fridge was not cooling. I got the fault code by following the manual test procedure & passed over the full details in my booking form. When the engineer arrived he was onsite for 15 mins & said we needed a part being promptly charged Β£95! 2 days later I get an email saying the model is to old & canβt get parts for it. This is unbelievable that even with the model number this could not have been checked prior to sending the engineer out. Daylight robbery! When speaking to the team who deal with bookings they said there is no technical Knowledge in the team & now way for them to check, despite them being able to check once they have been paid Β£95.00 for 15 minutes labour! Absolutely disgusting!

We initially contacted Glotech on July 28 following an issue with a part in our freezer. They came on July 29th, identified which part had an issue, and left. I paid for the new part. Two weeks later they call to arrange a fitting of the part. The guy comes and realises they've purchased the wrong part (which I'd paid for - along with his parking). The company refused to refund me for the initial call-out, despite this being a mistake on their part and my freezer still not being fixed - and instead charged me more for the (additional) new part. Several more weeks later, we're now into September and they rearranged the engineer visit to (finally!) repair the freezer with less than 24 hours notice - scheduling it instead for the next day. The engineer who came was finally able to fix the issue very quickly and was polite and courteous - but sadly that does nothing to solve the month-long delay & many issues along the way. He also asked me for a further Β£95(!) despite me having paid already for the part and the labour.

We have recently had problems with our AEG Combi Oven in that when in use it started to trip the main fuse. and as a result we were unable to use it. I found Glotech on the internet and they sent their local engineer known as Ron. He quickly identified the problem ordered a new part and fitted it yesterday. I would just like to record my thanks for a job well done. I would happily recommend him to anyone having oven problems.

I was very disappointed the company said it repaired Bosch machines. The person who attended did not know how to take the machine out from under the work surface and suggested I had the floor taken up. I then had Bosch attend who took the machine out with ease. The Glotech engineer was obviously not familiar with what was needed. I then asked for a rebate for the Β£93.54 I had wasted with Glotech and didn't even have the courtesy of a reply. Use them at your risk

Happy with the interface online, the engineer came during the time window and fixed the problem. Some of the messaging was a bit confused (whether someone would call me or not, whether payment would be taken in person or not) but when I called the office, I received a call straight back to confirm so good communication there. Thanks!

I was super pleased to have found Glotech, a locally-based company that offered a set call out price to look at my oven, establish the issue and pay for the part/s and included return visits, also six months warranty on parts installed. This gave me the confidence to try to get my oven fixed as it would be more cost effective and also better for the environment than going out and buying a new oven, also I actually really like my oven the thought of getting used to a new one was off putting. Booking with Glotech was really simple, I did it online, received the confirmation and the engineer turned up when he was supposed to, was communicative with me about what he believed the problem was and what he was going to do next. Payment was simple with a card reader so I didnβt have to go and get cash out, and then I was kept informed as to what the next stage was by customer care. They followed up after the repair to keep me up to date. All in all an excellent service, one for which I will return for if I have any other appliances I need repairing.

So happy with Jenny Sheehan at South London Glotech, after weeks of waiting for a part for my dishwasher I went direct to her number. She was so helpful, looked up the part, checked it had arrived and booked a swift repair date. Excellent service!! She was so pleasant and helpful after a long wait and not much help from the switchboard. Ben came out and replaced the part so quickly, really cared and knew what he was doing, just shows you what can be done when you have the right people for the job.
