   After being messed around from other plumbers I called James after a referral from a friend and so glad I did. I needed a new vertical radiator installed and he came round to assess the job when he said he would and contacted me the same day with a cost and when he could do the job. Turned up on time to do the job and nothing was too much trouble. Talked through exactly what he was going to do prior and was very professional and tidy throughout. The job was completed to our satisfaction and would have no hesitation in using James services again and would definitely recommend to friends & family. All round nice bloke and takes pride in his work.

   We had put a canvas on the wall and accidentally hammered a nail into the heating pipe, so we were without hot water and heating. This was not ideal as the temperature has dropped considerably. We called James after seeing the positive reviews and then sent him pictures of what the issue was. He was very responsive and kindly advised us that we can turn on the immersion heating system (which we didn't know about), so at least we had hot water! James was very friendly from the start when we opened the door. We were worried it was going to be a big job, but he was constantly reassuring us that he will try to his best to resolve the issue in a cost effective way. He showed immense care when removing the canvas off to wall to ensure it wasn't damaged (something we were dreading).  He then cut a small square of the wall to access the pipe. He swiftly and efficiently sealed the hole, drained any water from the pipes, reset the pressure on the boiler and then did thorough checks with all the radiators to ensure there was no leak and the heating system was working fine. Once all done, James glued the square piece back. He was clearly very knowledge and was able to fix the problem within 2 hours. He charged a reasonable price for the job required, as we thought it would have cost much more. Overall James was very friendly and professional from start to finish. We would highly recommend James.

   Our boiler stopped working and I called James as he had done the initial fitting of this boiler (years before we bought our house). He diagnosed that the boiler was dead and needed replacing. He got the immersion heater in the tank working so we at least had hot water. He then quoted for a new boiler and replaced the old one. We found him very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He in fact tidied up the Pipeworks that our previous plumber had done incorrectly and also sorted out some underfloor heating issues. Happy to recommend him and will certainly be in getting him back for any more work we may have.

   Last Friday 1st October we had a leak from our bathroom into our kitchen, it was so bad our youngest asked why it was raining indoors. Obviously in a panic we got on the phone to get a plumber in. We called a couple with no answer / luck, and had called James but he was engaged. James called back and upon hearing the stress in my voice said he would get round to me asap. He arrived within 20 minutes and after diagnosing the problem he quickly came up with solution to fix the problem. He was also very reassuring given what seemed to me to be a massive problem. James had to be at another job but he quickly arranged for one his team to come to my address so he could hand the job over to him and complete the fix. From speaking to James to the job being completed (including getting a new flex pipe) took 2 hours. Really impressive friendly professional service would not hesitate to recommend.
