Most awful experience. FMG work on behalf of Tesco Insurance. I am a father of 4 young children with 2 children profoundly disabled and am legally a Carer. Our disability car (privately owned not benefits) was in an accident and here I am 10 days later NOTHING has happened. No assessment, no nothing. For over a week I have been carless and my disabled children have been extremely limited in what they have been able to do. I will be complaining via every possible avenue. Have had to spend thousands on a new car as they are so slow. The lack of care or willingness to help has been beyond depressing - this is the worst customer service I have experienced in my nearly 40 years. I'd avoid this place like the plague.

Shocking quality of repairs! My insurance company arranged repairs through FMG Walderslade, who had my vehicle for around 7 weeks in total. I received texts now and then saying that my vehicle was awaiting 'X' and an ETA for work completed. When they delivered the vehicle back to me, they handed me an envelope and told me that it contained a list of all the work they had completed on the vehicle. When I checked this list, it was quick to see that they had claimed they had done things, when actually they hadn't. They listed that they had replaced the tyre and refurbished the alloy wheel - which they hadn't, it was still damaged in the same way it was when it originally went in for repairs. They also managed to put a big scratch around 6" in size down the door on the opposite side to where the vehicle was originally damaged. They came and collected the vehicle again and said they would get it sorted. No apology was ever given for their lack of competency. I heard nothing from them for 5 days, so chased it myself, to be told it's ready to be dropped back off. When they dropped it off, it was clear to see that the tyre had this time been replaced, and that an 'attempt' has been made to refurbish the alloy wheel. However, as you can see from the photo attached - the quality of the work is shocking! I've taken the vehicle to another refurb centre to look at, and they told me that the alloy has not been done properly. It contains orange peel, overspray and had not been lacquered properly either. Very poor really. Wouldn't recommend this company at all.

I read a lot of poor reviews which seem to have all disappeared from Google. My car was repaired them via insurance company. Repair all good, it did take a lot longer than originally stated but was not an issue as I had a courtesy car. I was asked to pay a VAT sum before car could be returned despite not being VAT registered. Sorted this was a mistake which is fine, but I have been waiting nearly 1 month for the refund and it is hard to get through to anyone on the phone as there is rarely any answer and the phone just rings out. Approx £1,400 out of pocket for a month and still waiting for my money to be returned. Up until this point though I had no concerns with the actual work they did, just the communication is quite poor if you need to speak to them.

Our car needed repairs done through our insurance and we were directed to FMG repairs. We had never used them before so we were hesitant but after receiving our car we are unbelievably happy with the repairs and the customer service most importantly. The communication was spot on with regular updates and fast responses to emails. They were also happy to explain the procedure of how the repairs are carried out, which for me, as someone who is very particular really appreciates. Would definitely recommend for personal use outside of insurance. We dealt with Michael flack. I hope this review helps.
