   I had my MOT done here last week and was really impressed with how smooth the whole process was. They picked up the car from my house, kept me updated, and returned it washed and spotless. They handled the complex diagnostics perfectly, found the fault that two other garages missed and fixed it under warranty.    I only wish I had found MKL Motors sooner! After multiple failed attempts by other garages to fix ongoing coolant system issues, MKL Motors finally got it right. Their service was clear, considerate, and completely transparent from start to finish. What truly stood out was how the mechanics genuinely put themselves in my shoes—something you rarely see. They even deep-cleaned the car after the repair, which was an unexpected but much-appreciated touch. You can really tell the team here loves cars and takes pride in their work. This is exactly the standard I believe the automotive repair industry should strive for. I’ll definitely be returning to MKL for future servicing, thanks to the credibility and professionalism they’ve demonstrated.

   Brilliant customer service and repair to the car. They were able to give me a date for the repair, and didn't keep the car for a minute longer than it took. They charged a reasonable price and were very professional throughout, even when having to deal with the problems caused by the Audi dealership. Brilliant experience, 5 stars.

   Our BMW 2013 F31 330d suffered a timing chain failure and we could not find any garage in our area (Winchester) to repair it. Found MKL on the web - and got full information, a reasonable price and also an early booking. The repair took even less time, than we expected - we also changed the oil and filter in the gear box - car was also washed and valeted :-). Highly recommend. Great job. Thanks again!

   Before my father passed away earlier this year he asked me to look after his 2002 S-Type Jaguar. After driving from his house to mine some 120 miles it was evident that mechanically it was not as sound as it looked on the outside. The dashboard was lit up with all sorts of light and faults. I tried local mechanics who took a look at the registration and would look no further, Jaguar dealerships who misdiagnosed the faults and treated me as a nuisance as opposed to a customer. I found MKL online and called them as a last resort before scrapping the car. The owners at MKL speak to you in a way that you wish to be spoken to, they insist on full inspection before quoting and talk through the quote also with a view to maintaining the vehicle long term. It wasn't cheap, but it was excellent value for money and after a lot of work the car has passed an MOT and more importantly, drove my sister to the wedding. The owners and techs at MKL knew the importance of me being able to take my Mum and sister to the church in our dads car on her wedding day, and truly pulled out all the stops and made sure it was back to me in time against an impossible deadline. They also valeted the car and returned it to me as I could not collect it. I have been back several times now for more work. They are consumate professionals, and I know if my dad were alive to meet them today, he would agree wholeheartedly too.

   I had a timing chain break on my 2011 5 Series 520d. Many garages refused to take the work on and several suggested scrapping the car (current value £6500). After looking at several forums MKL motors were recommended as the best place to fix this and still make sense to keep the car. I spoke to Khaleed (apologies for any typo) who quoted me their standard timing chain repair service of approx £2000. I agreed and shipped the car over to them. During the course of the repair it was discovered that the turbo needed replacing too, another £650, I had little choice but to agree. The car was fixed well within the 10 day leadtime, and I picked it up (cleaned and valetted, very nice touch). Unfortunately after approx 10 miles I had a drivetrain warning light which meant another trip back to MKL. They were not able to diagnose/fix the issue so I had to leave the car with them and take a courtesy to get home. The issue was soon resolved, a faulty earth cable which should have been spotted by the mechanic during the first repair. So Pros and Cons: Pros - they are very experienced with the timing chain issue that faces BMWs and their solution was by far the most ecnomical choice I had. The repacement of the turbo was regrettbale, however their price for that was good too. - Khaleed in the office was very communicative, polite and professional. In fact the whole set up is very good. - All charges were fully explained and I do believe they offer value for money. Cons - The faulty repair was costly in time to me as I had already taken 2 days annual leave to drop/pick the car up (70 mile round trip) so being forced to do this trip again for an issue that was of their making is annoying. - I was still asked to pay for the courtesy car (Khalleed did reduce the term by 1 day) which was only needed because of their initial error. If I could I would give 3 1/2 stars and I would recommend them for BMW owners with similar timing chain issues. Overall I feel Im slightly unlucky with loose wire issue, otherwise a good experience.
