   Steve is an absolute superstar. I got a rear puncture on my Tenere WR (tubed tyres) and the AA had to recover the bike to JAPS Motorcycles. Steve was able to fit a brand new inner tube at very short notice. Super professional and vast knowledge. Literally saved our weekend trip to Donington Park. Massive thank you to Steve.

   taken several bikes to Steve & everytime he's resolved issues & even resolved potential problems. Took my RSV4 to Steve of which , he uncovered a serious issue with the Sprocket hub carrier while simply completing a tyre change. It would've led to an inevitably expensive dilemma. Incredibly greatful for his vigilance here. When Steve completes a tyre change he always rubs down the wheel where the bead connects to the wheel & he completes the job swiftly. His pricing too ; Fantastic. Steve could easily charge an extra £5 p/hr & he's still cheaper than most mechanics. Highly recommended 10/10

   Found shop after being fleeced several times at Bacon's Newbury Park. My battery kept draining and could not figure it out. Decided to travel a little further out for me and it was the decision I have made. Steve has been a diamond in the rough. Has been looking after my bike repairs and faults for probably 5years. Great guy . Oh and he found my original alarm was the issue to my draining battery. Been lovely ever since

   This place is fantastic. Steve helped me out when I was unable to bleed my scooter brakes after I replaced a bleed nipple . Bike was collected and fixed in 15 hours ! Friendly , knowledgeable and very reasonable cost . I only have 1 bad thing to say . I wished I’d found him years ago !

   I had my tyres changed on my 2012 ER6N the next day! Ordered in too! Can’t believe the efficiency of customer services. Whilst the tyres were off, he had a quick look at the brakes, advised that the back was good and the front was very low. Changed them there and then. Steve’s a very knowledgable and experienced overall mechanic and even tightened any loose bolts that I hadn’t noticed. Competitive prices too, and only wants the best for the customer. Only been there once and I’m going back there again!

   When I bought my Yamaha R6 recently I wanted to change the oil and oil filter before riding to Berlin. Steve did a lovely job of it and the engine ran smoothly for my big adventure. On my return and after a frustrating time with other garages I asked Steve to replace my worn front tyre on my Yamaha R6. I was pleased with how quickly he sourced a suitable tyre (Michelin Pilot Road 5) and with the price he quoted for fitting it. Within 48 hours the tyre was on my bike with the correct pressure. He checked the pressure in my rear tyre as well. Bolts were fastened with the correct torque settings too. Nice work! I might add that Steve applied copper slip to my anti-screech pads eliminating an irritating squeak AND oiled my drive chain! Japs MC is a hidden gem in my opinion. I will be back next time my beloved R6 needs any work done on it. I recommend this place to anyone who rides Japanese motorcycles and appreciates quality workmanship.
