Cry for the Moon recently helped us with the repair of two cherished pieces of jewellery, a wedding ring and a very thin white gold chain. Cry for the moon is a truly special jewellers. The team of staff there are all incredibly helpful and absolutely do their best to support you with such efficiency and in finding/ designing your dream pieces of jewellery. My Fiance liased with Harry and Holly who together selected my dream engagement ring, I honestly couldn’t have chosen better myself. I decided that I also wanted a special ring for him and knew it had be from Cry for the moon due to their outstanding services and I too couldn’t have been happier with the results of his signet ring. We have definitely found a lifelong jewellers and couldn’t recommend more!

Terrible experience. Like many of the other negative reviews for this store - kindness goes a long way, perhaps look into training your shop owner. My boyfriend and I went in to look for an engagement ring. The owner spoke to us and was so dismissive. He didn’t like the ring style I wanted because they do more “traditional rings”, heavily implied that the £3000 mount would be out of budget (we hadn’t discussed budgets at all) and told us it’s not worth it for us. We didn’t even get to sit down as he spoke to us for about 5 minutes and dismissed us. We then went to Preston’s afterwards and had the most incredible experience and ended up going with a traditional ring at £21,000. They gave similar advice to cry for the moon (that an intricate ring wouldn’t be durable), but did it with kindness and grace, so we were happy to change the style and choose a traditional ring. They treated us like human beings and I noticed that no matter who walked into that store, everyone was provided excellent customer service. Shopping for an engagement ring is supposed to be a special experience, not one where you get dismissed inside of a store the size of a shoebox by an owner who thinks everyone should have the same ring.
I had my mums old diamond ring re-mounted into a platinum band. You guys did an amazing job and I can honestly say it was faultless....my mums ring now has a new lease of life and will last looking flawless and I won't worry of it coming loose from the mount anymore Thank you for a perfect job amd I would highly recommend you
I came in when two ladies were working who were very lovely and accommodating! Helped me with de-knotting and fixing a clasp on a necklace and wouldn’t take payment which I thought was super kind. Also gave the little girl I came in with a biscuit!
Cry for the Moon helped me create a very special ring using heirloom diamonds. I’d been struggling to find the right fit to help me create a bespoke design but Cry for the Moon went above and beyond in every way. We had bought my engagement ring from Cry for the Moon 6 years ago. I had lost it on our driveway, and when my husband found it, the ring was badly damaged. He took it into Cry for the Moon and received exceptional service. They took it in then and there and managed to reshape and polish it so it looked brand new. They didn’t even charge him for all the work. We are so thrilled to have it back, looking perfect. Thank you so much for your fantastic service, it means the world to be able to wear it again.
Fantastic jewellers. Visited on Sunday just to have a pendant put onto my chain. Pauline managed to do it within 2 minutes and wouldn’t accept any money! Always professional, friendly and have an amazing range of jewellery. Thank you so much to Pauline for all your help!!
