   We brought our daughter to the Bromley branch of H Samuel to get her ears pierced. She was understandably nervous but Mia was absolutely wonderful with her, explaining the process, helping select a pair of earrings she would like, and doing a fantastic job of the actual piercings. Nearly two weeks on they look great and thanks to the aftercare advice Mia gave us, our daughter has had no problems so far. We were very impressed with the service provided.

   I purchased a women’s bracelet for £162.70 from duty manager Jeylan O. The bracelet snapped 2-3 weeks later and I took it back to the same manager and asked for it to be refunded, repaired or exchanged as it was extremely poor quality and not what one should expect from this establishment. Jeylan refused to help and only said it could be sent off which would take 3 weeks to be repaired and I’d have to pay for this repair. Instead I took it to Strattons jewellers who repaired it for me for free and on the same day (as they were also replacing a watch battery for me). Poor quality and poor service from H. Samuel and I won’t be returning. There are multiple jewellers within 2-3 minutes Walk (e.g: Pandora, Strattons, Fraser Hart, etc. - all of which I have used multiple times and never had anything like this with them). My suggestion to customers is that you use one of these other establishments instead.

   The Manager of this shop is called Jane and she was superbly professional in the face of some serious adversity. I visited the shop on a very busy Saturday and she single handedly worked through quite a few complaints and enquiries that were ahead of me in the queue. She was polite, genuinely listened to issues and was understanding with everyone offering sensible resolutions. She was praised in person, but also deserves a further shout out here too.
