I am absolutely appalled. I came all the way into Bromley on Monday 30th June, specifically to visit Lovisa, which is supposed to stay open until 7:00 PM, as clearly stated online. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at 6:20 PM, only to find the shutters already half down and the girl inside clearly packing up for the evening. When I politely knocked and pointed at the sign, I was met with a shrug and told, “We’re closed now.” Excuse me? Since when do shops get to just shut up early without notice? I’m an elderly lady—I don’t just pop in and out of town for fun. I made the trip especially and was left standing there in the middle of the mall like a lemon! Not to mention, I could see a necklace I liked right there in the window. It’s not just about the jewellery—it’s the principle. If it says 7 PM, it should be 7 PM. Very unprofessional. I won’t be returning. I’ll take my business (and my pension!) elsewhere, thank you very much.
I visited lovisa last week to get my ears pierced. Had to wait over half an hour as one of the staff informed me the other staff had gone to the toilet and she had to wait so that she could serve customers. Isabelle was very professional and was visibly concerned as we was waiting for the other staff member to return. When the other staff did return she had mcdonalds in her hand and sat out the back for another 10 minutes. Very unprofessional of her.will not be using this store again.
Today I went to get some earring and I found a set that supposed to have 3 sets of earring but one was missing. I went to the girl who worked there and asked her if she has more like that but she said that the set only comes as two piece. Clearly poor customer service cause I found the same set in silver and it had all three earring set. So she asked me to pay £16 for just 2 earring set when it should be 3. Staff who works there don’t even know anything about their product. Very disappointed.

Completely rude staff lacking etiquette which spoilt an otherwise pleasant experience. I purchased an item and confirmed this would be a gift. The tag was removed but I had to repeat myself as the actual barcode including the price was still left wrapped around the bracelet. The poor attitude of that assistant by failing to apologise for her oversight and the fact that she felt the need to make a face at her colleague when she thought I was not looking was quite shabby. Both need training in dealing with the public and I echo the other reviews confirming the poor standard of customer service at this branch in The Glades.
Good products & good prices but had experienced terrible customer service when I accidentally spilt some water on the shop floor. I noticed a roll of tissue by the ear piercing station so used that & did my best to clean it up before continuing to browse. A staff member proceeded to grab the same tissues and wipe the floor over whilst rolling her eyes and muttering slander/curse words under her breath (WHILST IM STILL IN THE SHOP). To avoid an argument I left without purchasing anything and I am reluctant to return.
You should perhaps update your closing times to 4:30pm as I visited on Sunday at 16:40pm to quickly buy an earring as I had lost mine. For your staff to tell me they close the shop 30 minutes early to clean the shop. Very bad customer service and attitude from the girls in there
If I could give -10 star I would. I took my 4 year old to get her ears pierced as she been wanting to do it for some time. The fact that the staff was incredibly rude and with absolutely no people skills could have been overlooked at if we actually got a good outcome at the end. The first person that served was so miserable, spoke in monotone, never said please or thank you. I know some kids can be very annoying some times but I can assure you it was not the case with my daughter however the lady that served us seemed very annoyed by every slight movement or breath from my daughter. My daughter would rest her hand somewhere and she would PHYSICALLY push her hand away. The second person that actually did the piercing was way more pleasant than the first one but still no patience and no understanding. My daughter was crying after the piercing and was told “ why are you crying, you just got what you wanted”. Shocking. The lady tells me “we gonna do both ears at the same time so it’s done quicker” and I thought: great, sounds like a good idea… she calls over another colleague to do the other ear and she looked worried, like she didn’t want to do it. Well this last lady completely messed up the hole, missed the spot and also did not did it all in once so it must have hurt like hell. I had to take the earring off and I will wait for it to heal so she can do it again. I got a refund at the end but I just think this place is absolutely shocking. You are dealing with customers, sometimes children… do you not train your staff to make people comfortable? I am sure the other person was not even trained and she still pierced my daughter’s ear. You deserve to be sued.
I went to get my youngest daughters ear piecing done yesterday . All the staff members were really nice and so helpful. They waited patiently untill my daughter settle down . Store was really busy but the team were handling it well .
