   RACIST + UNEDUCATED + potentially FAKE diamonds- very poor sales tactic I visited Browns Jewellers on Sunday 14th December and spoke with a sales assistant wearing red lipstick with ginger hair. When I asked whether their diamonds are GIA certified, she stated that GIA certification is “pretty useless.” This is a misleading and unprofessional claim. GIA certification is internationally recognised and provides buyers with independent verification and security — precisely because it is not graded by the retailer itself. She then made the comment, “We don’t send our diamonds to India,” which was completely irrelevant to my question and came across as inappropriate and offensive. It raised serious concerns about her understanding of the diamond market and global grading standards. Oh and check this, she said they don’t certify diamonds under 1ct. So ladies if you’re purchasing a 0.9ct diamond, they may just be selling you very sparkly plastic! I asked her if their diamonds had fluorescence, she said no. But it was very very obvious under the light there was fluorescence from the many colours of the rainbow it was emitting. Compared to Hatton Gardens, these looked like imitation diamonds and poor quality. Please educate your staff. The overall tone was condescending and dismissive. Based on this interaction, I have lost trust in the transparency and quality of Browns’ diamonds and will not be returning.

   I recently visited Browns store, and I was utterly blown away by the experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely seemed to care about finding the perfect piece. They offered a personalized service that truly made me feel valued as a customer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beautiful jewellery and excellent customer care. It was a truly memorable visit! Roy was so superb we have since bought 6 pieces from this store.

   Having purchased several superb quality items from Browns at Stratford. The thing that makes me going back time and time again is the wonderful Staff in particular Louise Mack who is so friendly and professional to a standard I have not received anywhere else and I have shopped at some major high end retailers for jewellery and watches and nothing comes close to the service I receive from Louise absolutely outstanding . I must also make a special mention about AJ who is also outstanding. Both are such a credit to Browns and they need to make sure they hang on to them both. I highly recommend this store to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty and get the most knowledgeable and professional service. Just make sure to ask for Louise and Aj . I will not go anywhere else and look forward to my next visit. Mark and Michele.
