Tried to sell them some scrap gold, they inspected the gold items, and then came back to tell me they wouldent by my late mothers jewellery because i was a man, and there were some gold earrings in the mix that "could" of belonged to a woman there for i could have stolen them because why would a man want to sell female jewellery. What rubbish. If you didnt want to buy it just say so not make up some rubbish and waste my time. Went over to cash converters and got £500 cash there and then. Very unprofessional behaviour.
Visited Dartford branch on Saturday 2 September 2023. I was really not sure what to expect as this was my first time in a pawnbrokers and have to say that both Sam and Samuel made me very welcome. Sam explained the whole sales process from start to finish and was very professional and friendly and gave me what we're very fair prices for several items. Once we completed security and testing checks money was paid by bank transfer very quickly. I would be very happy to return. Great service without any pressure or chipping.
