   I was referred to Ken Simmonds by a colleague who uses Moneo’s Financial Planning services. I was a little apprehensive about seeing a financial advisor having been approached by a few on LinkedIn. I decided I wanted to speak to someone recommended to me and I’m really happy that I saw Ken. He was really approachable and really patient explaining the murky world of tax and pensions. Ken was able to clarify the key things I need to consider, including how much money I would need to fund my retirement, the asset allocation of my pension funds, the appropriate contribution levels to retain tax allowances, the pros and cons of property Vs investing, and how to build up funds so I can help my children get on to the property ladder.

   We were strongly recommended by family member who had previously worked with Ken and invested with him since Ken started up Moneo We needed financial advice on planning retirement Ken met us both and pulled all our financial strands together to provide stable plan to allow us to confidently retire. We were very impressed how quickly we became one of the Moneo family and how Ken cared about making our plans successful for us Ken (through Moneo) has provided us with confidence and security in having a robust plan ensuring we have a regular income that’s meets our needs In retirement We were both weak on financial matters and very unaware of how we would cope in retirement and his advice has been excellent. Working with Moneo allows us to concentrate on what is important to us confident that our money was invested wisely. We have always received extremely responsive financial advice, tailored to our ethical investment beliefs. Ken also provides advice when our circumstances change. Ken keeps us regularly updated on how our Financial Plan is progressing. We meet at least annually, and our money has progressively grown despite the ups and downs of stock markets. Worth every penny!

   I am delighted to provide a review for Ken Simmonds and Moneo. My wife and I had never had any money to invest, but when I retired in 2007 I received a significant lump sum and needed advice on investment. I searched for a local Chartered Financial Planner and found Moneo a short walk from home: we have never regretted using them. The service is personal. Ken listened carefully to our needs and plans for our future. His bespoke advice is tailored accordingly: he is always responsive to our calls and helpful with all questions. We have received sound advice on investment which has protected us from major falls in the stock market whilst seeming to give us the benefits of rises! We have had help on further pensions and tax efficient investing, receive timely reminders of actions we should take and rapid advice when circumstances change. The money we spend on fees for Moneo is money well invested!
