   I recently engaged with Jonathan at Stirling Southgate because we were thinking about taking out a small mortgage to consolidate some debts and reorganise our finances. I liaised with the team who were extremely helpful and efficient – guiding us through the process of supplying the required paperwork. In the end, Jonathan referred us to alternative options. At no point was there any kind of hard-sell – Jonathan’s advice was transparent and knowledgeable, and it was clear that he wanted us to get the best product for our needs, even if it meant us going elsewhere. Because of this, I wholeheartedly recommend Stirling Southgate to anyone who is looking to apply for a mortgage, renew their existing one or obtain any other financial product.

   We contacted Sterling Southgate amongst other similar outfits when we were thinking about making some alterations to our home. We were unsure of what we really wanted to do and as such, unsure about how much money we’d need to release. Jonathan listened to our ideas and initially talked us through a variety of options available to us. What struck me during that initial fact-finding call was Jonathan’s continuing use of first person pronouns, everything was ‘we, us, our’, and not yours/ you. We very much got the impression he was on our side, he listened and offered solutions to hypothetical problems and ‘what-if’ scenarios to help guide our decisions. The reason we secured his services to execute the financial aspect of our venture was his willingness to listen and tailor his approach to us. Indeed, we ultimately (through Jonathan) took out a mortgage advance as opposed to re-mortgaging - we’d never even heard of that as a ‘thing’ prior to speaking to Jonathan. From us making the decision to go ahead, Jonathan was with us every step of the way - replying to queries and providing further clarification, giving us updates and reassurance at regular intervals, and really going above and beyond to ensure we were 100% involved with total transparency. It is safe to say we will not hesitate to go back to Sterling Southgate when the terms of our current mortgage deal expires, as we know with absolute certainty that Jonathan and the team will once again be there for us when we need them. Would very highly recommend.
