Appalling customer service. Staff refused to admit public claiming pool was at capacity - not true (you can see into the grounds through fencing at the rear - lots of space 4pm, July 6). No shade for queuing customers despite blistering heat and full sun. Donβt waste your time.

Members only at the hottest part of the day, we traveled from west London with two buggies. Poor excuse of a public pool. Would not recommend at all. Poor service poor excuse. They said they updated their socials regularly. Well... We are here, with kids and they didn't care.

Great teachers for the kids and to be honest ...its a public pool so don't expect virgin health club standard people...great facilities since it has been refurbished and renewed

Last week I've tried to get there with my friend around 5pm, however the pool was closed as there were too many people in. When we tried to ask what happened we have notice a police officer standing in front of us! He was nice tho, but the pool manager completely crap. He was aggresive and asked us to go away, we didn"t do anything... It is not very nice to call police while customers waiting, it puts the company in a bad light. This is how u want to make money ha? Its a humilation man !

Unfortunately I have to rate Pools on the Park only 2 stars due to their major lack of hygiene. Both indoor and outdoor pools are very dirty, the tiles inside the pool are black from the grime and scum which has been allowed to build up. The outdoor pool contains more leaves, dead bugs, plasters and food wrappers than water. As you swim, you are constantly trying to avoid and swim around rubbish, dead bugs and leaves. I used to fish out the rubbish and leaves as the lifeguards are oblivious, however now I just duck and 'dive'. On a few occasions, I have witnessed the lifeguards scrubbing the tiles while people are swimming, meaning that all the dirt scrubbed away goes straight into the pool water and onto the people swimming. While swimming in the outdoor pool, a lifeguard was scrubbing the tiles, and this lifeguards supervisor came outside and shouted for all swimmers to hear " if you don't finish scrubbing the pool, you will be doing it during your break". This was so inappropriate and unpleasant to hear. Clearly the management in this place have no training or understanding of communications. The changing room floor tiles are covered in muck and dirt and there is an unpleasant smell of damp and mould. this is probably due to the fact that the floors are cleaned with an equally dirty mop, which only spreads the germs and bacteria around. The premises are greatly outdated, with old broken tiles and very old and basic furnishings, such as cheap, plastic lounge chairs and old, broken cubicle doors. Footwear must be worn at all times, as this place is so dirty, waling around bare foot is surely asking for an infection. The pool is generally overcrowded, and the staff do turn people away if it becomes over crowed, especially during the summer months. So if you are going to visit, ensure that you arrive before 12pm. The gym is very small with limited equipment, so be aware that you will wait at least 20 minutes to use the equipment of your choice. Overall, if you are visiting Pools on the Park every so often, It may be bearable, however, as a membership holder, I truly regret signing up for a contract, and count down the days when it will expire. The membership and daily entrance prices are greatly overpriced for the service and facilities you get. Recently the daily entrance prices have been increased, and I sincerely hope they will use this extra money to sort this place out! The only decent thing about Pools on the Park is that there is a large grass outdoor area where during the summer months you can have a picnic or sunbathe and cool off by jumping in the infested outdoor pool!
