Gym is good, having all mod cons (classes, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room). Cleanliness of changing rooms is where this gym loses one star, but on balance, it's good value for money compared to other local offerings.
Was here for almost 2 years and I’m a complete idiot for that.Machines are extremely limited and for some reason there is a ridiculous amount of cardio machines. Male changing rooms are disgusting. Showers have hair on the floor and like abnormal amounts if you know what I mean. The wooden sauna seats are wonky and falling apart. Been in the jacuzzi 3 ~ 4 and my eyes were killing me from the chlorine. Steam room is inconsistent .A friend of mine caught ringworm from the steam room (female side).loose ur card and u pay £5 however you can enter once a month without it ( it used to be twice a month). I brought 2 friends once and they are lowkey are still annoyed about it. I just remembered the parking is the worst thing ever, one time I got 3 tickets in one week and when I try to appeal it saying I’m a customer of the gym .there’s realistically no way to prove it so they reduce it from like I think it was 60 to like 20. Oh and the parking only fits like 7 cars and they are the tightest thing I have ever had to fit myself in. Staff are nice that’s for sure.elevator doesn’t work or is restricted for whatever reason. My membership ended in July so who knows things might be different now.
Great price, great facilities, great basic set up BUT--- the hygiene in the mens locker room is appalling. puddles of water everywhere, people slipping around the place, this is very dangerous for the more senior members. The lift is always out of order which again will affect senior members. The sauna is ridiculous- the wooden panels are falling apart, the rooms doesn't really heat up and the puddles of water are extremely dangerous. Some of the showers do not turn off and are wasting water and there is a shower cubicle which has a see through cubicle so you can watch the other guy shower. The vinyl on the panel has come off. Also the massage lady in the massage shop in the place uses the same used towels for each customer and this once gave me spots. There is just a hygiene and safety issue here and all the members have complained but nothing has happened

Two months ago, I met Alejandro, the personal trainer at Gold's Gym Hounslow. He gave me a reality check of my body fat percentage and weight ratio. He likewise advised what foods to cut from my diet and provided a diet plan. He helped change my lifestyle to a healthier one, and he has become a mentor and a friend and helped me boost my self-confidence. Alejandro went above and beyond to ensure I was reaching my goals, guiding me through my diet and pushing me through my workouts. Not only did I leave with an overall good experience and excellent results, but Alejandro taught me important overall health lessons that I will continue to practice on my own. Alejandro is very knowledgeable. He evaluates your strengths and weaknesses to make you better and stronger. Additionally, he pushes and motivates you beyond your limit to help you achieve your fitness goals. I highly recommend him as a trainer at Golds Gym Hounslow!
Very nice gym with great facilities. You won't find better for the price. Equipment is super high quality with the latest tech, stuff you won't see any where else and it's readily available throughout the day, rarely ever busy. The swimming pool and spa are also good. The receptionists are very welcoming and helpful, they also wear suits which is a nice touch. All-round great gym, you can't go wrong.
The staff are wonderful and super friendly. Lawrence is super friendly, Joy has a lovely smile and Alejandro is very helpful. When the gym is full, the swimming pool is usually empty. It's quite a lovely gym

Gold's gym offers a great value for money. This branch in Hounslow falls a little short compared to the other ones but it is still a excellent gym. Sauna and steam room, nice swimming pool and jacuzzi, well equipped free weighs area, machines availability, enough cardio variety, and the fact that was not that busy at peak hour are all strong points. Unfortunately, the studio is on top of the swimming pool and there must be some isolation problem since all the hot, chloride air filled the room making difficult to work out there. Moreover the ceiling is very short, giving the impression for everything to be squashed, as some of the equipment almost reaches it. This does not allow to skip the rope for example. It also lack a proper bodyweight area where there are only few blue mattress in a wide corridor. Overall, good gym for bodybuilding and excellent offer for all the services. Recommended
