    Waves Swim School is an absolute gem! As a parent of twins, I’ve seen a huge improvement in their swimming skills and confidence since joining. Their 7 stage programme is well-structured, and the progress has been incredible to watch. What really sets Waves apart is the small instructor-to-student ratio so much better than other swim schools around SE! The instructors are friendly, patient, and truly invested in each child’s growth. Tony is fantastic warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. Being a family-run school, there’s a personal touch that makes every session feel safe, supportive, and fun. I’d recommend Waves Swim School 100% to any parent looking for quality, care, and real results.

    The low rating someone has given is very harsh. Very friendly swim school and different to most others. I’m a swimmer and the standard of teaching is much higher than anything I’ve seen as many or all of the teachers are competitive swimmers. You can see the teachers saying exactly the right thing for the individual child and the progress throughout the lesson. The facilities at the pool are definitely very rough and ready but it’s worth putting up with for the quality of teaching and how secure my son feels in the classes, which is something he re-discovered once he moved to Waves.

    Amazing swim school, brilliant coaches ensure kids progress and move up when they are ready. 1st swim badge our daughter achieved was 10m, has now left swim school having completed Gold Survival and her 2,000m swim badges. We recommend Waves to everyone.
