Swakeleys Park in Ickenham is a pleasant green space perfect for a relaxing day out. Although named Riverside Walk Public Open Space, don't expect a river; instead, you'll find a well maintained park offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The park boasts wide open spaces, making it ideal for families, dog walkers, and anyone looking to stretch their legs. The paths are well suited for leisurely strolls, and there's plenty of room for kids to run around and play. The mature trees provide ample shade, making it a comfortable spot even on sunny days. Swakeleys Park makes up for it with its tranquil atmosphere and well kept grounds. It’s a great place to unwind, enjoy a picnic, or simply take a break in nature. If you're in the Uxbridge area and looking for a quiet park to visit, Swakeleys Park is definitely worth checking out.

The park had a sign up saying only 14 were allowed inside the play area. I counted 7 leaving plenty of space for the children and I to play together. The children and I agree, The trampoline and slides were our favourite and the swing was great too. I noticed a swing for a wheel chair aswell.. how lovely to be able to have such a lovely space in a Borough of London. A good time was had by all.
