Absolutely awful food. Chips tasted old and reheated and fish was soaking wet. Worst food had in a long time. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Awful experience ! Stay away from that place. Placed an order via just eat. Said 30 minutes wait. After 45 minutes called and asked how long do I have to wait - was told the driver left 10 minutes ago and should be soon, waited another 15 minutes and called again where is the driver so - was told driver should be there soonβ¦ asked to call the driver as it been very long time. The lady was very rude over the phone zero help , she called and stated the driver is outside my house , checked the front nobody was there , she kept insisting driver is outside and we should check properly - awful attitude. She put the phone on us 3 times needed to call her again , then she said the driver is outside at the back of the house so we went to the back and nobody was there. We were fooled around for the whole time , itβs been 1 hours and 30 minutes without order. Awful customer service, awful place, not worth the money.
Ordered through ubereats my order said 6.20-40pm it arrived at 7.25pm I had to call 3 times didn't get much help by rude staff and then to top it off had part the order cold or like it was warmed up in a microwave as the chicken wings were like rubber. SHOCKING FOOD AND SERVICE. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY FIND SOMEWHERE BETTER.
This food is absolutely disgusting, the meat isnβt cooked. The chips taste and look old. My partners fish came soaking wet and crumbled. Iβve never seen food this bad. Was refused a refund too.
Hadnβt been for sometime as the food quality had gone down. Went in Friday to find a grubby looking shop with apparently different owners? Food was shocking - burnt, bone dry and cold doner meat with cold (obviously from yesterday) chips. Couple that with much higher prices and you have a recipe for yet another change of hands. Stay clear.
Β£6.20 for a small tray of chicken meat and chips is absolutely ridiculous, and in all honesty, wasn't nice. The one star belongs to the staff, who are actually really nice. Can't say the same for the management. Been in a few times, as the chips are pretty good, and each time, the female owner/manager talks to her staff, in front of customers, in a truly appalling way! Will not be returning as the prices now seem extortionate for what you want if its anything except chips, and cannot stand to see management seem to enjoy belittling the staff.
Visited this place today to stop off for a cone of chips to pack out my sandwich a bit for dinner!! Shop is clean and the lady behind the counter is polite and helpful.. I came at dinner time so the chips came out fresh and hot!! Had a little mix of normal/battered chips and both were really tasty! Only thing I would personally pull is the portion size as it was quite small for a Β£2 cone of chips but as expected in the current climate!
We were in the area and needed a quick tea so went here. What a treat!! Lovely staff but the food was amazing!! Went back the next night. Loved it. Whoever had a bad experience try it again I went in two weeks ago lovely
