Nowhere near as nice as it used to be. Sauces are very bland and watery (Curry, Satay and Black Bean). Just a very average Chinese. There are much better options in neighbouring towns.

Lucky boat was always so lovely but recently I’ve had two separate occasions where the sauce hasn’t tasted like anything. The curry and then the satay, don’t know what’s going on. Not saying this out of spite but rather to let yous know they taste watered down and tasteless. Please have a look at your sauces

Minus 1 star Probably worst chinese ever had Woeful food And actually insultingly bad and upsetting Should be ashamed and shut down Do not go here Go elsewhere They should not be in business still and taking up space where someone decent could have a business or restaurant Utterly woeful and I am disgusted Only go here if you want your money down the toilet and be left hungry and disgusted which is not what you want. Worst chinese ever experienced Food is a disgrace and portions are small Not only is the food disgustung they give less than any chinese ive ever come across And not nice staff either Should be shut down Taking up space More NICE food places are needed in saintfield So they really should go away Lucky boat is more like pukey toilet Looks nice from the outside but dont be fooled it is trash They need to shut down and let An actual good and useful business be there instead Shameful and such a waste

Ordered quite a lot including a platter for 4 ,chow mein, shredded beef, sweet&sour king prawns with fried rice to be honest never again I could cook better myself. Cost £68 which if the food was good I didn’t mind paying but myself and my guests were not impressed. So won’t be back.

Used to be the best takeaway Chinese in the area. Decided to use the restaurant for the first time and the service was so terrible we left without eating. Aside from the young girl, the staff were incredibly rude and the young man even told us he didn’t want to be there and made us extremely uncomfortable. Other staff also incredibly dismissive, brought out 1 persons main without a side and none of the other dishes then left us sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for the rest of the order until the one main there was went cold. At this point we asking nicely how long for the rest of the meal when a woman snapped at which point we decided to leave. Hire some staff that want to be there. Won’t be back, very unfortunate.

Ordering online is a no no, you can wait upto 30 minutes after your collection time and the order is always wrong ( even when you mention to check the order in the comments section). People can come in and order and be served before you as you wait...not great customer service . Food used to be good but seems to have gotten progressively worse.

Used to be the best place for food in saintfield but in the last 6 months they're either changed the chef or they're cutting corner with ingredients because I can't remember the last time I enjoyed their food. My last order had noodles in it that looked like they'd taken it from a supernoodle pack and the order gave me and my wife food poisoning. Tried to contact them about this and heard nothing so had no choice but to try and be heard here.

Can never fault the food or the staff, both are amazing. Great selection of dishes to chose from

What happened tonight? Normally think the Lucky Boat is best chinese takeaway in the locality. Ordered Shredded Chicken with Garlic & Chilli Sauce+ Fried Rice & Crispy Peking Duck with Pancakes. Discovered at home no fried rice or any other side with our main. The dish was not something you could eat without rice but we live to far away to make a fried rice round trip. Duck was sliced/diced and sauce like tar. What happened?
