Ordered a takeaway this evening and will certainly be the last. The food was probably average at best, the butter chicken tasted more like a korma and my garlic chilli chicken was tasteless, call the place spices well it was pretty bland with the flavours. If you are looking for an honest review and a proper Indian in the local area I'd stick to the proper Desi pubs like the Hen and Chickens, The Red Lion, The Sow, The Soho Oak, or The Vine.

Our Friday night visit was hard to fault. If there is a downside then i would suggest it could be a bit brighter inside which is hardly a deal breaker. Conversely the service and attention would be it's main strength as well as the food of course. I particularly liked the accompanying dips with the poppadoms. Our shared sheekh kebab starter was a bit "firm" but still pleasant enough. The curries and chicken in our "special dishes" were both excellent. Nice rice and nan, standard chips! I did like the fact that they are licensed but happy for you to take your own alcohol. I note some people taking their own soft drinks. Perhaps a fair proposal would be a corkage for anyone taking their own ? Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit.
