For me, I wasn't that impressed with the park, especially as the pond/lake was shut off due to safety reasons, and it looks more orientated to the younger generation. However it does house the Valence House Museum, and there is a cafe (with bathrooms) and a place to buy second hand CDs and books, a picnic area and also a herb garden. I found trees thriving with apples and pears growing on them. Ripe crunchy apples and soft pears.

A great park to spend time with children. Good amount of activities to do,as it has a football and basketball court, including some outdoor gym machines. There is also a playground for smaller children and the park is near Valence House Museum. Free parking available there also

Great place to come and let your child play with some slides, swings or just kick the ball. Good amount of parking available however bear in mind that during saturday football practices or sunday games there is little to no spaces available at all and gets very crowded even when trying to get out of the parking spaces.

A nice park for walking or working out... It's the blue skies for me. It has a play area for kids and gym for adults... A clean park as well.

Decent size park with kids play area. Although I would avoid the ice cream vendor, rude attitude and continues to charge for card payments even when the transaction is over £10.

Great park but need some light after sunset- all lamps are not working. Big family of rats running around the pond.

I was visiting my mum, when I had a pleasant walk around the park. I was disappointed to find the gate to the moat locked. Me and a mate used to watch the anglers, mostly old boys fishing, in the late sixties early seventies. I think then, it was Becmaine and Wangey Angling Club who used to run the lake.. Still, nothing lasts..
