I called into this branch today on my way home..Talked to the staff and i told him i like Indian flavours so he recommended the tandoori pizza..He was very polite and friendly ,and the thin crust Tandoori pizza was very delicious..It arrived quickly to my table despite the phone ringing non stop with customers ordering delivery..
The staff are really friendly and helpful,the food is always fresh and tasty. It's under new management so if you've had a bad experience in the past give it another go ,it's how papa John's should be again, fully loaded pizza with loads of taste served with a smile.
Went to collect a large pizza and gac bread today and ended up eating it there! Pizza was amazing.. pipping hot, ready just as we arrived having called up 10 mins earlier.. super yummy. Garlic bread was also great. People were very friendly and kind when we stayed to enjoy our pizza. Flexible with half/half due to kids.. all good. thanks
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! We stupidly thought we'd give this branch a second chance after a previous bad experience, well... More fool us! Order took 1 hr 40 mins to arrive and when it did it was cold so we refused delivery. Obtaining a refund was almost impossible due to no answer on the phone all evening. Eventually we got one the next day but what a shoddy place, honestly who the hell is running this place?
Ordered online for delivery, took 1 hour and 50 minutes to arrive, had to reheat it as it was cold, and it was also very chewy and very tasteless, everything looked lime it had been sat out In the kitchen for over an hour after it was cooked, then reheated before leaving the store, Called up a few times and told my food was on its way, so it was on the road for 45 minutes. Won't order again and contacting bank for a refund.
Ordered from newton abbot Friday 18.30pm. It took a while to be delivered. The delivery driver apologised for the delay but unfortunately the delay caused the pizza to be cold. So my first experience of papa johns was disappointing.
Super happy with the service from Papa Johns today. We wanted to change the base on the pizza but did not make it very clear so instead of guessing, they called us to check. Uber eats were taking forever to pick the order up and so they contacted us and offered to personally deliver it and gave us a free bottle of drink for the inconvenience. Super happy
My wife and I had create your own pizza tonight she did not mined her pizza but as for me I did not like it , I know we all have our own taste for me I like thin crust , but what I had was not thin as it come out the same as Orignal , so thanks but no thanks I will not be haveing Papa John's again . I was hoping that they would be better than Domino's so for me no more pizzas .
Fantastic Opening Day Showing! I was not expecting perfection from an opening day order, but was pleasantly happy with what I ordered! I chose to take a gamble and order on their first day open, and I have to say that the standards of Papa Johns are shown in this Newton Abbot franchise. The variety of toppings are fantastic, and the signature pizza dough is very very good; lightly crispy and the interior giving that signature softness and bite that one comes to love in a properly cooked pizza. I love seeking out the fully Italian pizzerias but they are a long way from Newton Abbot. Your next best option is Papa Johns!
