Collected a takeaway last night and it was easily the worst I’ve had anywhere. Notice near door about staff shortage. I’m guessing it is in kitchen and what was a very good takeaway would need to sort it soon!
Really enjoyed the sauces and fried rice. The chicken balls seemed huge and a generous portion too. Unfortunately they were quite doughy.
Ordered a Thai green curry and sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. Well the curry was light brown in colour and nothing like what it should have been or tasted anything like Thai. The sweet and sour was plain battered chicken balls with a sauce. Not a great experience so won’t be back. £20 wasted I believe.
This used to be a very good Chinese takeaway, unfortunately this is no longer the case. £23 for two starters and one main. The salt n chilli squid are now squid balls and probably bought in. Why can't they just use pieces of squid if they're charging £8? The chicken curry contains chicken, onions and sauce, the used to be added vegetables now a luxury. The chicken breast is poor quality and spongy in texture. I don't mind paying for good food but this is no longer good food and it was the quality of the food that the silk served over the years that kept people returning. Unfortunately I won't be back. Not recommended.

Friendly service. I used them when I am on the way home from working late. Cash only if under a £10 no problem at all.
Joke of a service over two hours for the food and it was cold never again sorry but shocking
