Ordered for the first time last night. Really good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely use again.
Havent bought a takeaway chip in years and thought would treat myself and gotta say was very happy with the results. Fast service, friendly staff and chips tasted great.
Asked my son two walk round and get two chicken burgers and 1 curry chip and Wow guess what the price was £16.50 Or did you just see a kid and say to yourself Am going too wipe his eye I don’t think so ..
Dunno if it's because I was starving but the cod supper I got here went down an absolute treat. Bloke even threw in a free curry sauce for me as I was running low on cash, hero. Portion size was more than enough. Even had chips leftover there was so much.
it's supposed to be chicken fillet burger believe it or not! it didn't even fill the bap and the chicken was skinnier than the batter i have to say it was more like a chicken nuget burger it wouldn't fill an infant and I asked for salad and just received lettuce, I wouldn't have payed a £1 for it never mind £4.80. I'll not be back
Hit and miss in here, must be to do with who is on duty and cooking. 28th Feb 2023, order Cod, Chips, Onion Rings, Steakett and Battered Sausage. Steakett was fine, enjoyed that OK, Fish batter a bit thick, more batter than fish and I do not want to pay over a fiver for a pile of batter, the rest was OK, except the onion rings, my goodness , why did you even serve these to someone. Totally out of order, Batter so hard I could not even bite into it. Totally overdone, onions inside burnt and barely regonisable. I got from here the week before and all food was good, but, I have now had a gut full of rubbish food from takeaways, not saying this is the worst and not signalling out any paticular takeaway but mo one should not be sending out or charging for food that is inedible. Any one ready these reviews including all takeaways, any more food that is served inedible and not deemed fit for consumtion will be repoted to the Food Standards agency and picture taken of the food and also the food and packaging kept to be checked. I am sick of paying for rubbish food from anywhere that dares to serve it. And note, everyone else should do the same of they are not happy!
Will definitely not be returning to this place it's the first time I tried it and have to say the hygiene standards leave a lot to be desired not that the place was dirty but you can imagine the horror when I was watching the girl helping with the cooking make up a curry chip then proceeded to lick the side of her finger not once but twice and I didn't see her wash her hands at any time.I also had ordered wings with Frank's hot sauce and got salted chilli wings instead which tasted of overpowering salt although the rest of the food which I ordered was average,meaning I've had better in comparison,the only thing it had going for it was the food was still hot when I got it home,sadly not an experience either my family or I enjoyed
Onion rings ...OMG superb. Whatever you are having Fish n Chips, Burgers, Kebabs or anything else just add onion rings. Gorgeous.
Picked a fish up this evening. Got home and the thing was barely cooked. The batter was soft and soggy. The dog wouldn't even est it. £5.90 as well. Safe to say I'll not be back.
Never normaly have a problem with this chippy. The food is usually amazing, fast delivery and always comes warm. But tonight in the fish batter was a metal staple. Very disappointed as my child could have been eating that.
