One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Lovely dough and the topics were so fresh and high quality. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
Me and my partner came here while on holiday. The staff were lovely and so helpful, the inside is decorated beautifully, the food was fantastic (great vegetarian and vegan choices) and the Oreo vegan shake was so good we came back the next day for another one. Will definitely visit again on our next trip this way.
Very good pizzas, in a nice contemporary and clean pizza venue. There were many pizza flavours I have never heard of and if I lived locally, I would definitely try them all out.
Absolutely incredible pizza cooked to a very high standard. I enjoyed it that much that I went for my dinner and then went back 3 hours later with another person. Tried the basic margarita pizza sauce was sweet and very tomato rich. Cheese was melted to perfection. One cool thing they do is they let you cut your own pizza if you want large slices you can have large slices, if you want smaller slices you can have smaller. One thing which isn’t great is the portion size of chips you get, this may sound weird but the portion size for the chips is huge after you have a 12” pizza then you have a bowl of chips aswell. To make a long story short I would highly recommend anyone to try salty bay pizza next time I’m in st Austell I’m having a salty bay pizza
excellent food and service. went out for lunch with my husband and toddler. the staff were so accommodating for our little one and made us feel so welcome. i got a beef brisket panuozzo and my husband got a pizza. there were a few kids menu choices as well as kid friendly drinks.
We have been to Italy on many occasions and tried a multitude of pizzerias. Salty Bay is absolutely the best Pizzeria we have been to in the UK and easily rivals the best in Italy. Whilst you won't find a "Four Seasons" or any of the usual fare here you will find fantastic pizzas made in an authentic Italian way but using local ingredients. It's a delightful twist on the old favourites. The decor and atmosphere are spot on, feeling comfortable yet smart and the staff are a delight. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
Really tasty, I had the Boss Hog pizza which uses a cheese and white wine sauce instead of the tomato sauce. Our party of 4 had a different pizza each and each person enjoyed their specific pizzas. The green splat was a little spicer than we expected but not overly.
The BEST pizza I've ever had in the UK! The sourdough base was delicious and they were very generous with the toppings. The lady who served us was really lovely. We can't wait to go back and would highly recommend it to all the pizza lovers out there :-) You will not be disappointed!
My partner took me here after having it as a takeaway, because he was so impressed with it. As an Italian, and especially missing the food, this is as close as it gets to what I used to have growing up. The staff are really friendly too. And found out they cater for weddings too: such a pity our is miles away from the beautiful Cornish Bay! Safe to say this is going to be now our go-to place :)
