Vegetarian option for one was insulting - I ordered fesenjān (£17) and was presented with a large bowl of basmati rice and just the sauce unlike the meatball version (£18). I dont see why it doesn't come with something else like aubergines or pumpkin as is traditional. For a balanced meal you need to be sharing dishes in a larger group. I would have ordered a side but 7.95 for tsatziki seems a bit much - the prices quoted here on Google are out of date. Tea was £3.50

My husband and I took our son and daughter-in-law to dinner here on our son's birthday. We'd never been before, but previous reviews were very encouraging. How right they were! We received a warm welcome when we walked in, were offered a choice of tables, and everything on the menu was very clearly explained to us. The service was excellent: informative and friendly, and the food was stunning: plentiful, original, absolutely delicious, and a treat from start to finish. We thought it was extremely good value for money, especially given the quality and quantity of food on offer. It cost £135 for three courses each, and drinks. We were glad we'd driven there; we were far too full to walk home! Booking strongly advised, and essential at weekends. 100% recommended - we will definitely be returning.

Very atmospheric little restaurant, was fairly busy when we were there. Very friendly service, food was amazing. Only 1 member of staff serving everyone, but he was very sufficient.

Delicious food, very filling, great service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended - if I’m in Plymouth again I’ll come back and try something else from the menu. This was first time trying Persian / Iranian food and I like it a lot. Really nice, subtle flavours different to anything I had tasted elsewhere. Not spicy but very well seasoned with lots of taste, very tender slow cooked beef infused with the stewed herbs and other ingredients. The Persian flatbread is really good too.

A real find in the centre of town but just off the main street. The waiter was so attentive, I was visiting while staying away with work. The menu is pursian with plenty of grilled meat, spice and rice. Only dropped a star as mine was quite greasy, probably just my pallet though. Background music was on brand, unobtrusive and tasteful. The decor is amazing, it has a real Eastern vibe to it, with brightly painted tables in different colours and tiled walls. Seating is laid out with long mess tables and a few 4 person tables for smaller parties. I'll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my meal here last night. We had the platter of 4 starters which we could choose and they were all delicious. The house Merlot was a good accompaniment. The lady who served us was really helpful and the service was excellent. I hope to visit here again when I am in Plymouth next. Recommended.

Friendly service and authentic cuisine. If you want a more authentic atmosphere go upstairs (see photo). Unfortunately like everybody they're experiencing supply problems and they'd run out of the saffron ice cream. Also although they're still listed they're not doing Meerkat Meals anymore.

Wanted to try this place for a while. But I felt disappointed with the service and food. I was not shown to a table nor was the menu given to us (we just winged it and sat on the upper floor and found their menu on a table). The place was too dim and I did not find table and chairs fit with the decor (we sat on their outside seating, better and very Persian but cold). Food was alright but a bit overpriced, but would be better if they actually put on the menu told us beforehand items that were not available on the day instead wasting time looking at it and then told. Don't think I will come back, if I want middle Eastern food, I prefer Bamo (though its Kurdish).
