First time ever I liked Chinese food in UK, I have been to number of Chinese restaurants but Lotus Garden is the best, noodles are freshly cooked and hot when they arrived, food was delicious and hot. Loved everything and being ordering from Lotus Garden a lot x
1st and last time trying this place ordered Spanish omelette and a duck curry Spanish omelette was burnt and tasted burnt the duck curry was tasteless wouldn't recommend this place to no one
Putting my order. Quite a big order didn’t have to wait long and the food was nice and hot and full of flavour. Very happy with my food.
You know how they say not to cheat on your hair dresser? Well don’t cheat on your Chinese!! Tried this place for the first time last night as my usually Chinese takeaway wasn’t open. Paid £20 for tasteless food only to end up with food poisoning! Won’t ever use this place again. Some of the chips was hard in the middle, chicken didn’t taste like chicken, didn’t eat much of what I ordered and I’m so poorly, god knows what I would of been like if I ate it all!
I ordered a family meal for £39.00, which was significantly more expensive than other Chinese takeaways in the area. However, the quality of the food was extremely poor. The chicken in the meal resembled rubber, ruined my jaw, and the rice had an unpleasant, stale taste. Like it had been sitting for days. This experience was highly unsatisfactory, and I advise others to avoid purchasing food from this place. As a paying customer, I expected to receive a high-quality meal, but I was sorely disappointed. AVOID.

Been using lotus garden for over 3 years. Counter staff always polite well presented and happy. Very welcoming . I have seen them dealing with very difficult customers and remains calm and collective. Food is amazing I would never eat at any other Chinese. Owner always willing to amend my order to suit my dietary needs. Keep up the excellent work
Where to start order a mega chicken salt and chill pepper box meal waited out side for 20 mins after then going in and waiting. The 2 young girls in the front desks were very rude and kept on swearing in front of me. Considering I am a paying costumer this is unexpected. I think the young one was training and learning the ropes and the front of house staff don’t even wash there hand when they go serve up your food will definitely 100% be contacting trading standards as there is definitely a breach here with this Chinese takeaway. In terms of the food it was cold and bland and all the meat had a weird aftertaste and the chicken wings were very bloody so was unable to eat a good portion of my food definitely would not recommend this Chinese take away.
Very bland and tasteless food. Pre-ordered but still had to wait 15 minutes. Food hygiene rating of 1 says it all. Wish I'd checked that beforehand.
