Just had a delicious meal delivered. Super delivery, slightly less time than advised over the phone. We had a strong recommendation from friends who frequent mount ghurka at Christmas times. We rarely gpt for a takeaway, but didn't fancy cooking today. The starters and mains were nicely packaged, poppadoms were delivered in one piece and not broken and all looked nicely cooked and fresh. The pickle tray was a good selection and popadoms lovely and light, wish I'd ordered a couple more. I opted for an authentic lamb as I prefer flavours recommended by the chef and my husband chose rogan josh - both very tasty. Bhajis were light and not thick congealed balls but tender and tasty with just the right amount of crisp.Tender meats and ample quantity that we've had to freeze half of each portion, not through stodge but just happily full from a lovely meal. We in turn will pass the recommendation on as a super dine.

Always a good experience. We were there to celebrate my eldest and youngest son's birthdays. They both chose Mount Ghurka. My brother came also, because of where we were going. Starters were good with plenty of poppadoms. Main courses, there was plenty to choose from. I had the lamb and potato curry, it was lovely. Everybody else enjoyed theirs too, including my middle son's children. There was even a phall tasting contest going on between them.

Had a fantastic meal here this week, early doors. Never been before and don't usually leave reviews as we find most places we visit have poor food, poor service or both. This experience was exceptional food, service and atmosphere. The food was really tasty and came to the table piping hot. The portions were generous and the staff were friendly, approachable and happy to provide a service in a professional way. We will definitely be back in the evening with friends. Thank you. Michele, Charles and Danielle.

Great service in a beautiful and spotlessly clean restaurant. Food and prices were OK.We had Masala and Danshak. Both were on the hot and spicy side, despite being low to medium in the curry scale.

Disappointed left before even offered our booked table! The place was freezing bar service terrible left waiting ages for our booked table (which was in the bar area with drinkers and people waiting to collect dine out - area not suitable for a meal)- someone before us walked out had been waiting for nearly an hour for there table!! Needs to get more organized before we rebook - can't comment on food as we left!!

Ordered via the just eat app. Firstly sorry about the photo ! I simply couldn't wait to dig in as the smell was so so good ! Tandoori chicken with rice. This meal was delicious and very very filling. Arrived well before the expected eta.

Had such high hopes after hearing such great things about this place but sadly the service let it down, the food was absolutely amazing! But it took at least 15 minutes for a tap water and then once we got our food no one even returned to see if we were ok or wanted anymore drinks, one of our group went up to someone and asked for more drinks but after 20 minutes had lapsed and we had finished our food they still hadn't arrived so we said don't bother, it wasn't particularly busy and it was a Saturday night so would hope they be fully staffed, such a shame hope that it was perhaps a bad day as really would go back for the food.
