Frozen chips in a tiny box £3.50. Poor show. I understand limited menu off season but come on. Others have mentioned the same. Chip shop chips are the least you’d expect. Not good.

Long waiting time, with not a lot of people in queue. Massive Haddock. Chips similar to what you’d get from a Chinese takeaway, not traditional chippy. But sadly the most disgusting battered sausages we’ve ever had in our lives. Small, hardly any batter, overcooked to the point they were dry and hard and they had the most rancid taste that is hard to explain - something like out of date fish mixed washing up liquid. Will not be returning.

The batter on the fish was really soggy and the chips seemed like frozen chips rather than fresh potatoes. Giving two stars as the fish inside the batter was nicely cooked.

I had some great fish and chips here recently, but I was really put off by what I saw while waiting for my order. A young lady staff member was eating ice cream straight from the same pot that’s used to serve customers — using a wooden spoon, tasting it, and then putting the same spoon back into the tub. This is a serious food hygiene concern and is a case of cross-contamination and poor food hygiene practice. When the same spoon is used for tasting and then put back into the container, it risks spreading germs, bacteria, or even viruses into all of the ice cream that will later be served to customers. I’d strongly encourage management to tighten up hygiene practices and ensure all staff are properly trained and up to date with food safety standards.

Simply superb. The most delicious freshly made pizzas, excellent chips and the Camembert is amazing. Ice cream is yummy too. Staff are all polite and courteous. What’s not to like?

Avoid this place. Where do I start? Highly overpriced, greasy salad garnish (shouldn't have bothered as it was inedible,) fish bap had less fish than in a fishfinger. Chips were powdery - think they were frozen oven chips. No cutlery/chip fork given for fish, chips and mushy peas! Ridiculous! Also the young lad at the till was not exactly customer focused, bordering rude. Don't bother eating food from here - total waste of money.

Poor service, and bad value food. Chips were ok so giving 2 stars. Used to be a nice little fish and chips place now its a rip-off. Pub down the road does a better meal for slightly less pocket change.

Really impressive selection of Gluten free options for my wife. And delicious pizza - so fresh tasting.

After a few local beverages in town, we took a trip to this truly spectacular pizza takeaway joint. I had the pepperoni pizza, a simple but classic choice, and devoured all 15 inches of it. Despite a fairly long queue, the team turned around our order speedily and were extremely friendly. I would recommend the garlic oil as a topper, it added that extra layer of flavour to the pizza, which had just the right ratio of cheese topping to tomato base. We will certainly be visiting this establishment again.

The whole experience of this takeaway pizzeria is outstanding. Personal touch, secret dough recipe and the resulting pizzas are extraordinary. Perfection. One of the best in the south west if not the whole country! The lady who manages, cooks and produces the goods is a class act. When in Salcombe it is essential to try these pizzas. All of the team here are hardworking engaging with customers and produce the goods. Enough said! One satisfied customer
