Got a lovely dish of fish and chips here last Saturday enjoyed the staff services and it helped with my constipation 10/10 would recommend! :)
Not what it used to be. Ordered a steak medium. Came out well done/dry. And fatty. Tobacco onions were hard and cold. Wife's food was way over powered by to much lime. Kids chicken was tough and a very strange aftertaste. Obviously a different chef now and not in the same league as the old one. Won't be back for a long time if ever. Used to be delicious food. Pity.
Service was good, quick and efficient, friendly staff, felt very like a food hall, was taken back by the state of the place as we arrived, the carpet is disgraceful, we normally order all starters to get a idea of the dishes they serve, the crisps Chicken strips were pittyfull and price for them is ridiculous, also loaded fries was awful more loaded with mayo than anything else, I couldn't see any bacon and very very little cheese, We were sat at a two person table beside a half wall and the wall looks like it has had a artist at it, splashes and lumps of food all over it. Not a salad of a kind on thd menu, I asked waiting staff and she said they can do a rocket and parmesan salad for me, Sadly I just didn't get the vibes of what this restaurant supposedly is it's portions are small to be fine dining yet the standard of thd premises and food is nothing like fine dining.
We stopped off here on the way from Belfast to Derry after being recommended to go here by friends and by god were we glad we did! Our warm welcome from our very attentive waitress to having our drinks on our table within minutes and allowing the perfect amount of time for us to be ready to order. The kids menu for our 4 and 6 year old was great, they loved being able to choose a starter, main and dessert and having the fruit skewer as a choice is super healthy and great to see (i have added menu to pics). Our food was absolutely beautiful and nothing was left on our plates, perfect portions, perfectly cooked and presented and top class and friendly service from the staff. This will definitely be our go to place for trips to Belfast in future (just 2 mile from roundabout at Magherafelt (Derry to Belfast route) really couldn't recommend here any higher. Full marks!
Superb food and service. The steaks are a highlight and the key lime pie was amazing last time we were there.
Best food in all of Derry! 5 star service with food to die for. We returned on Sunday for a delicious 3 course meal. So satisfying. Small things like proper sized mineral bottles make a big difference. Great value. We'll definitely be back.
Our food was excellent, the set menu options were fantastic, and the price was very reasonable for the lovely spread we got. Service was patchy and we had to prompt or ask for some things and experienced some lags in service, though on a busy Saturday night we know this is expected! Overall, we had a lovely evening - we will definitely be back.
What an amazing meal we had tonight from thr starters to the mains to the drink amazing amazing amazing,wonderful staff who were so polite and friendly will definitely be back next week
