Bloomin' lovely. Fresh, hot, crispy fish and chips. Not soggy at all, just delightful. My son had the Mexican burger and he said it was the best takeaway burger he's had. Overall we're happy with the service, food and waiting time.

The best fish and chips we’ve had in years, worth every penny. I’m coeliac, so I’m never sure about eating out, but the owner could not have been more helpful. Sitting by the sea and eating fish and chips, what could be better?

It takes true dedication to be in business for 30 years. It isn't until you taste the cod, you realise why. It was fluffy, batter was light and buttery. Chips, just perfect. Steve knows what he's doing. Let alone the calamari as a special starter and the prawns in the prawn cocktail were huge and honestly, beautiful. Sam was also very very polite and a delight to have as our waitress, she was calm and very charming. Much better to have a meal here, than anywhere else in Devon!

We stayed opposite fryers tuck and got to meet with Steve. Fantastic gentleman, made us some of the best fish & chips we've ever had. Highly recommend the food and service you receive from Steve. Looking forward to going back to Bigbury-on-Sea and having fish & chips.

Visited August whilst on holiday. One man trying to cook for the whole show, there and the so called restaurant/diner adjacent. All food appears to be frozen. Had fish and chips. Fish okay, chips well over cooked and the wait after paying up front was over an hour. NOT impressed. The whole establishment was in need of a good overhaul. Had booked and paid a deposit for the restaurant/diner before realising the setup. Same scenario. Many dishes off the menu. Long wait for the food available and when it arrived it was over cooked. It takes a lot for me to downgrade a place but this one really deserves it. Will not return that is for sure.

Decidedly average fish and chip, saved by great view. Fish was freshly cooked and the oil wasn’t burnt, so tasted good. Portions were on the small side, but hot! Not sure I’ll be beating a path to get there again, but it was nice enough.

Great little chippy in a ticked away location. Beautiful scenic setting right in the beach front. Pub is next door. The guy who runs it is friendly. Seating area is available. Lovely to sit and eat and watch the sea. If like us, your at a local camp site and just too tired to caml cook.. This place is perfect.
