I'm a lover of Thai food but many disappoint ... not here! Best and most authentic Thai food I've had in the UK by a mile. Seafood broth starter was absolutely delicious and Monk fish main again, ridiculously great. Lovely service by a young team and the owner, with his Thai wife cooking up this amazing food in the kitchen. 11 / 10. The restaurant has a lovely cute authentic atmosphere, cluttered with hundreds of Thai bits and pieces but it feels just right, really authentic again. 100% do visit if you stay in Looe. It's perfect.

We just stumbled here after there being no tables at JuJu's over the road, but so glad we did, as this place is amazing! Ths food was amazing, the service was amazing. We really liked it here and would defo go back. Small, family run and busy, but they still squeesed us in.

This is a fantastic, if somewhat quirky, Thai restaurant. We arrived to Looe with nowhere booked for dinner and many places seemingly full unless we could wait until 8pm or later. Phoned the Ocean & Earth Thai Restaurant and was told a table was just about to leave so the owner would hold it for us until we got there. From the street, we were having second thoughts, and when you go in its a very small space with alot of tables crammed in very close to each other. The owner is an interesting character and, whilst English, had clearly travelled extensively in Thailand based on the photos all over the walls. I could see how other reviewers might not have taken to him or had brusque responses from him but that was quite charming in a way. His wife does all of the cooking on her own and is an amazing chef - the food was really quite excellent. Despite how busy the restaurant was and the warning on the menu that food may take a while, it was actually quite quick. I can see why others would say its the best Thai they have ever had, it really was good, but I dont feel that I eat Thai food often enough to make that bold a statement. I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone though. You can order many dishes in mild, medium or hot but just be aware that the menu and the owner constantly tell people their medium is like other restaurants hot. I can believe that because we went for mild after being told that and it was still quite spicy! I dont understand why they dont adjust their descriptions to match what people expect rather than having to tell every single customer that the ratings are not what they would normally be everywhere else. Not a criticism, just something that would seemingly make life easier for them... Superb, if I am back this way I may well come again.

The best Thai food I've had to this date! Medium is very hot still, I should have gone for mild. 5 spring rolls for £8.95 didn't seem reasonable at all though, although they were good. Not really enough rice for how hot the food was for us.

To be fair, the atmosphere was only a bit lacking because it was very quiet at this time of year. The owner (Nigel?) was knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating, explaining the dishes and making sure people got the spiciness they were comfortable with! The food was very good: interesting recipes, all prepared to order, reasonable portions, and very tasty. Pricing was reasonable. Definitely worth a return visit to try some more of the extensive menu.

We drove through wind and rain to get to this place and it did not disappoint. The som tum, sticky rice and Tom Kha soup were our favourite dishes of the night. A lovely cosy place with a friendly host. Highly recommend!

One of the finest places to eat in Looe. Excellent Thai food, well priced and with reasonable portion sizes. Not massive portions of dubious quality. Not tiny portions that still leave you hungry. A good size of good quality ingredients that have been well prepared. The takeaway service gets very busy, so I recommend booking at 5.30 and getting in before the rush.

Enjoyed. Nice mix of local seafood with Thai flavours which is exactly what we hoped for. Would say their spice rating is honest as the chilies I tried by mistake were ferocious. Drinks options a bit dated but there's Thai wine at least (even if only as good as it sounds, so alternatives might be advisable) and a range of Asian lagers.
