Got their at 22:10 for them to try and lie saying their closed when their open till half 10 when they was then told their still open they made up another lie and said they have ran out of rice and chips will never be back at this place after wasting my time this is not the first time they have done this
This is a Chinese 'Takeaway'/'Takeout', so there is no seating to eat in. There is a couple of small steps to go in the door of the premises, so not very accessible for wheelchair users to go inside, though the staff are all really friendly & approachable for help. They provide all the usual Chinese 'Takeaway'/'Takeout' foods. Anything we have eaten from here has been really tasty, good quality food & big portion sizes & really competitively priced! There is a good sized free carpark directly outside, you have the choice to order in the shop or ring your food order in. You can either a delivery or a collection. Then you just pay when you get your food. Im not sure about card payments for deliveries, usually, for these types of phone-in orders for delivery, you will need to pay the delivery driver with cash but for collection, you can pay with cash or card at the counter. There is a large grassy area with lots of huge trees for shade, right beside to shop, that you could let you dog have a wee stretch & potty break, if it's been in the car for a while, but there's not a big dog park nor a kids play park. Also on other side of this carpark & grassy area, there is a busy main road into the town, so kids & dogs will need supervision & dogs would be best kept on their leads, for safety whilst there. There are also other businesses there that also use the carpark. Among others, there is also a small 'corner shop', a chip shop & a pharmacy/chemist there too.
phoned at 22:15 and had asked for collection but was greeted by a women that said sorry we are closed and hung up but shop doesn’t shut till 22:30 is pretty bad customer service
Have been getting from here for many years tonight 9/10/2025 ordered food and was very very disappointed everything went to bin 25 pound totally wasted dont think I'll ever get from yous again 42 years iv been getting from golden taste knockmore and I can tell ya all never again
Food is good, service is very good, not a great atmosphere as it is take away only.
Cracking food I would highly recommend it. It's a very busy Chinese that tells you everything you need to know.

Curry was great as usual but the chow mein noddles are like spaghetti..really thick and soggy..
Have been going to Golden taste for a while now food is hit or miss, lately waiting time has been ridiculous,, I order Duck with Satay sauce on a regular basis but this week after placing my order waiting 20 mins the cook decided no we don't do this,, what way is that to treat a customer its a sure way to loss customers I can say I will never Chinese again.
