We were part of an early Christmas dinner party for a group of 20. The restaurant had our table set in one long banquet style, which was easy for everyone to get to their seats and exit when they needed to. The service was preformed at a very nice pace, not to slow and not to hurriedly, it was in the Goldie Locks zone. The servers were very pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing and the portions were definitely not small. Owing to food allergies we ordered from the standard menue rather than the Christmas menue. My wife had the liver and bacon which was amazing and she literally couldn't finish it. I plumped for the classic burger with extra cheese, bacon and fried onions. It came out like a two story building, the burger itself was easily over an inch thick, and the chips were the size of logs. Now I like my food, but even I struggled to finish it all, and my word I enjoyed every mouthful. Nick the owner is an extremely nice chap, and rightly so, very proud of his establishment and staff. I cannot praise Trade Winds enough, we are really looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing!!! My parents chose to eat here during our stay in Teignmouth and they were shocked at how amazing the food was! Personally I didn’t eat there as i joined a bit later for drinks, but they couldn’t stop praising the food and wished I had eaten with them. The restaurant was dog friendly which was perfect and the owner and staff were incredibly nice. They even took my boyfriend who is a chef to look round their kitchen and talk to the chef who used to work in Michelin star, so my boyfriend was very happy as he loves talking to other chefs who are passionate about their jobs. It was such an incredible place to dine and the atmosphere was perfect, it was very clear everyone was passionate about working there! Hoping to go back one day for a full meal!

We were recommended to try this restaurant. I called in through the day to ask if very well behaved dogs and partners were allowed. The dog sat under the table with no-one having knowledge that she was there. (Win win when on holiday), partner did get a chair and a beer! Service and food absolutely fantastic. Well recommended to visit. We had a small starter, main with a side order (not needed) ending with two very full bellies. Meat moussaka and the Veg moussaka. Tasting just perfect. Thank you

Oh my goodness what a fantastic restaurant, Nik (can you guess who he is from my photos) is a brilliant front of house host, his wife is one of the chefs in the kitchen where they cook the most delicious home cooked food with really big portions especially the spag bol and chicken curry. The service and atmosphere is brilliant we felt like we had been out to a restaurant with entertainment on. Would be ideal to celebrate a birthday here but you must book in advance.

My brother and I took our mum and my wife here for Mother's Day . We were greeted by smiling staff who cheerfully showed us to our table. The orders were taken quickly, and the drinks also arrived at the table very shortly after. The food was absolutely delicious, of which I had the fillet steak . Portion sizes were very large, and we all felt full, and unfortunately, no one could clear their plate . It was an amazing experience, a lovely evening, and we are really looking forward to returning .

Such an amazing evening. We had a birthday party... this restaurant is so authentic and u feel so welcome. The owner is kind and polite and very entertaining and friendly. Staff is efficient and friendly, service is great . I ve had lamb shank and Greek salad. Wau!!! The portion was huge and the lamb so tender , full of flavours, just enjoyable. Nice selection of wines and desert sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. The owner put on Greek music with a bit of Greek dance .... I would definitely recommend if u are looking for place which makes u feel special and like at home.
