   Very dated. Poor lad running round ,serving us answering the phone taking orders. Seeing the drivers order was correct. . Had a hour to eat our food. Had better experience else where. Wouldn't go back again.

   Weve always used a take away on derby road but one evening for some reason they were closed so we looked up reviews and gave the Phoenix a go. Lady behind the counter was lovely, called first to order as its collection only. Meal was lovely and hot, very tasty, fresh and ample portions with plenty of choice and didnt make me feel sluggish afterwards either. Will definately return as out new takeaway. Very nice

   Stumbled across this Chinese takeaway a couple of weeks back from being new to the area and decided to order and give them a go last Sunday! Rang and ordered for collection as they don't delivered arrived and had to walked home about 5-10 mins away the food was still piping hot when eaten it and it was lovely full of flavour and seemed like a proper authentic Chinese taste which some Chinese lack. Will be returning again soon

   Excellent customer service and friendly staff we used to always order every Friday night when. I lived with parents for about 16 years never had anything to complain about lovely it's a shame they don't deliver as I no longer live in the area but occasionally travel out to collect from them well worth the trip out

   Good Chinese, but they don't take card payments, nor do they deliver. Their prices have recently gone up on average by more than 50p per item, so the appeal is starting to wear thin. They have also mixed up our orders a couple of times. Will bump back up to 4 or more stars if they improve.
